At some point during last night's game, I convinced myself that the main difference between Miami and Clemson - outside the obvious fact they have a real quarterback and we don't - is strength and conditioning. They have more size at practically every position and most of the guys on the field weren't even recruited by Richt.

But then why did we also get bullied around by Pitt? That's a team where the size and strength discrepancy is in our favor, not theirs. It's a multitude of reasons: no bye week, poor defensive coaching schemes particularly early in games, the need for more blue chip recruits who are upperclassmen, and the need for a better QB.
 
Honestly, I’m still much angrier about the Pitt loss than anything that happened last night. Given our circumstance, that loss was completely unacceptable and worries me more going forward
