They are not nearly as good as last season. We would have to play a near perfect game and they would not for us to pull it off. losing #23 I can only hope will spur CMR to to totally go for broke offensively with way more motion,counters,qb under center,DJ running,throwing and catching and anything else to slow down their pass rush.

IMO our big receivers Cager and Langham have to be heavily involved I don't want to see any small guys except Berrious in the Redzone.

This is my concern, how the heck do we move the ball. We won't be able to run and Rosier just isn't accurate enough to make enough plays in the passing game. I think we battle with them early, but D wears down and we lose something like 31-10

So Vegas thinks more of us than the trolls here... they have us +7.5/+9.5, yet you all have us losing by 3TD's. Rosier had an off day against Pitt, but he has thrown the ball accurately (when it counted). I'm not naive, but if we come in with our A game and good offensive play calling to open up the running game, we can win this. The TO chain can be very demoralizing, and give us an edge too. Why be pessimists... this isn't a Clemson site. If Syracuse can beat em we sure can... please!

your confidence and loyalty to our canes is admirable. But... Clemson lost at cuse without their biggest weapon playing most of game because he was injured. He was replaced by a true freshman at qb. Clemson is now playing better than any team in college football. After Pitt game I believe we have to play better than we even did against n dame to win. Also realize this is virtually a home game game for Clemson.

I don't think we have to play perfect. We have to play like we did the ND and Va Tech game. They all run spread offenses that are similar. They spread you out and their QB can and will run. Run the defensive gameplan with used against those 2 teams and we will have a chance. Quick passes on offense and hard nosed defense smart defense. No more of those zone read runs from shotgun because there are no holes. Spread the field and get it to guys in space quickly.

These guys act like Clemson is some juggernaut that smashes everyone. We don’t need to be perfect and they don’t have to be terrible. We need to play with incredible and relentless passion. And Rosier can’t be horrific again.

I'm aware that Clemson is a very good team, and they didn't play their reg. qb when they lost... so, what's the point regarding this game. Can we beat them? I believe we can. Are our players shaking in their boots going into this game? I don't think so. Again, Vegas is giving us a better chance at winning than some posters here. Sorry, but I'm a Canes believer, been that way for over 40 years.

If both teams play to their fullest, I don't see us winning. That rarely happens, so it'll come down to who fails to execute more. Top to bottom they are the better team and we'll see what happens.

This team has shown they have the capacity to beat anyone when they are fired up. If they come out flat 30 seconds before kickoff like they dd with Pitt, we'll know then and there that they're Orange Bowl bound.

Not to be pessimistic, but based on what I’ve seen all year, I see no evidence that they will beat Clemson. Could they? Sure. However, Clemson’s margin of error is higher. Fact is, Rosier is way to inconsistent, as is the running game, and they rely to heavily on the defense to create turnovers to win games. The offense is short handed in the talent department, outside of maybe WR, and the offensive play calling is to predictable. From my perspective, the best chance they had to beat Clemson was to go into the game with the feeling that they couldn’t be beat. Unfortunately, Friday’s loss to Pitt provided a bitter dose of reality. Quite frankly, I find it rather remarkable that this team finished with only one regular season loss. This team exceeded most objective expectations and it has been a very successful season regardless of future outcomes. IMO, Miami just isnt a part of that upper tier quite yet from a consistency and depth of talent standpoint. Hopefully, they are on an upwards trajectory in that department. With that said, nothing would make me happier than to be wrong on Saturday and I will be cheering the Canes on regardless.
