Clemson has longest home game winning streak

That is where it will stop, if it does not before then. Dabo's team is on the decline....and he will be gone to Bama by then

I hope so. The timing of that game will be critical. Our 2024 schedule is perhaps the toughest in UM's program history. Insanely tough schedule!

Yes, of course! The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch! 'Tis one of the sacred relics Brother Brown carries with him. Brother Brown! Bring up the Holy Hand Grenade!

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin.
Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.
Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.
Five is right out.
Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

Amen

Fuuuuuuuuck. I thought '98 UCLA, but then remembered that was a home game. I don't know if that has ever happened. All of our top 10 wins have been when we were also ranked as well.

I looked on Wikipedia and went all the way back to '76 and didn't see one. Has it ever happened?
1979, Penn State?..

Would winning 3 straight (bowl included) completely erase the stench of this season? For me, not completely but i would consider it a successful season. That would be 8-5 with a win in Death Valley and undefeated with a potential future star under center. A guy can dream cant he?

Not a chance. The stench of losing to MTSU and then getting your *** beat at home by more than 40 to your in-state rival while not scoring a single touchdown is never washed away. But even if we went 11-2 by also winning an NY6 bowl wouldn't wash away that stench.

Also, you're missing a loss we have 5 so far. The best we can do is 8-5. And that's not happening don't even dream it.

Given what this season could have been with even a touch of competency, the results cannot be forgiven, but finishing strong and winning a bowl game would be unquestionably more constructive and would paint the direction of the program a lot more positively in terms of what we're selling.

Do we ever play Clemson at home anymore?

I posted about this prior to the season. Thanks to Mario's Oregon Ducks going into Columbus and beating Ohio State last season, Clemson is the only remaining potential challenger to the Canes 58 game home winning streak.

We will get one more shot at stopping Clemson before they get to 58 when we travel there in 2024.

Going to be like 1985 when the Dolphins upset Chicago and saved the '72 perfect season.
