That means, even if we win the coastal next year, we’d be seeing a much better version of this Clemson team next season. They bring **** near that entire time back

And winning the coastal next year won’t be an easy feat, given we’d have to go TO Blacksburg

So, to the “wait till next year” crowd, I wouldn’t be so sure about that without significant changes (hopefully a new DC, Perry or Weldon seizing the QB position, and an imaginative OC)
so you're saying we should forefit next season? our problems isn't what clemson has it's what we have. like richt said, we need more players. build up the depth and we can compete.

We are doomed. No sense winning the Coastal. Let’s leave the ACC, maybe get in The Bug 12 or something, or ****, scrap football until Dabo leaves

11 straight weeks with no byes, our 3 best offensive players out, vs. the best team in America.

If you really paid attention we had 2 turnovers in our hands that we couldn’t secure(that’s our MO this year too) that after those plays Clemson scored TDs after for 14 point swing.

I also of the belief if Diaz had come out aggressive we wouldn’t have been down 21-0 so fast.

We had open WRs we couldn’t hit. That game could’ve been much closer there were plays to be made.

We played extremely poor. We could play much better(still wouldn’t beat Clemson), but much closer.

They averaged 1.9 per carry, we had 4 sacks, 10 TFLs.

Wilkins, the DE Bryant, Clelin Ferril all should leave early with Mitch Hyatt and Deon Cain possibilities.

Already scared about 2018? SMDH. Sack up, bro. No reason miami can't make major strides next year to close the gap with Clemson, especially when we have a quality qb (you'd be amazed what that does for a running game, OL, and even defense).

Not enough is being said about how crippling rosier is to the O. He's leaving multiple TDs on the field every game. Dude just can't place the ball.

Can you imagine our record if Sherriffs had been the starter? Yeesh.

Shet happens. QB is a soph next year, no?
We'll get "more better" than they will over the next year.
This post is duly noted.
Will revisit next year.

Agreed. After the shock and awe of 21-0, the defense played much better and Clemson became more human. Miami's own TO's in the 2nd half led to the additional shellacking. If Rosier could hit the side of a barn, the Canes would have been able to move the ball quite a bit more and made it competitive. It is hard to see it after last night, but this team has made strides.

Agreed. Jesus. Some of these porsters are so shook!

You want to be the Best, you have to learn how to beat the Best, so that someday you can actually beat the Best.

Clemson and Dabo are our Bama and Saban. Quit whining about how ******* good they are and figure out how to whip their asses!

McCloud as well.

"Recruiting well starts with evaluating well," Dabo Swinney said. "It's not just who everybody else says is a good player. It's who you think is a good player and developing those guys. Vic Beasley didn't start a game here until his fourth year. Kevin Dodd never started a game at Clemson until his fourth year. They were redshirt juniors in their first starts and very average players. Vic had never played defensive line. He was a running back, and Kevin was a one- or two-star recruit.

"But we evaluated them and got them in the right spot, and when their time came, they were ready.

Clemson has set the bar and I assume they will be better next year but that's not a given. I remember UF & FSU having great teams that turned mediocre when they lost most of their defensive starters. That could be the case with Clemson if their identity shifts from being an elite defensive team to a Kelly Bryant reliant team.

Coming the day after a tough loss ,whats the point of the OP's post? Is it masochism, sadism or just plan idiocy?

Need a better QB and need a better PL - not sure that happens next year but we will be in the mix
