Stop with that bullsh*t talking like it’s that big of a gap between Miami and Clemson... look we got blown out in that game and the guys wasn’t ready for that moment but come on.... ncstate, Boston college and a few other teams played them closer than we did that championship game day. Do those teams have more talent than us? Fvck no..... we put our self in a hole early not capitalizing on early opportunities, malik being inacurate(missing a wide open Jeff) missing fumble recoveries , kicks and all. Either one of those change the outcome of the games. The margin of era of football is that small.

I don't rag on you Brock but LOL. We have a FEW starters that are on par with them and no where NEAR the depth. It will take a couple years of recruiting like this class, especially with the DT situation

The game just didn’t start off right for Miami to compete properly. They aren’t 35 points better than Miami. Ncstate and Boston college are way less talented than both Miami and Clemson yet they didn’t have any problem competiting with them

The transitive property is the best way to compare things in the game of football. Broke stay smarter than everyone.

Just like they lost to Syracuse and we beat them the next week right? Come on bro

There's a gap, Brock. With Richards, Herndon, Walton, D-Jax, it's not 35 points, but there is a gap. Could we have beaten them if we played them 10 times? Of course. Is there a gap? Of course.

Yeah I’m saying I acknowledge that’s its a gap but it is no where near as big as people have been insinuating the last few weeks

Clemson has depth we don’t. Huge gap. They can sustain injuries or getting behind.

Georgia beats Bama
Auburn beat Georgia
Clemson beat Auburn
Syracuse beat Clemson
Middle Tennessee State beat Syracuse
FAU beat Middle Tennessee State

You're right, they aren't 35 points better than us, but drop the transitive crap. Teams play differently on different days against different teams. And you know it.

They couldn’t run on us easily, which is a sign that the game should have been closer. Kelly Bryant came out and was on fire hitting all the dink routes Manny gave him with the soft zone. Couple that with feagles and mullet shanking one each and you have the outcome. And of course their abysmal kicker walks in and hits a 48ydr.

24-10 I think is more a scale of how we sized up.

It’s easy fro Clemson and other big schools to overlook BC or Syracuse. Nobody is going to sleepwalk into a game against Miami. Every gets up to play us.

The Clemson game was one of two things.

It could have just been that the kids were deflated from the Pitt loss, Herndon injury, and Richards injury. It’s possible that they just felt like they couldn’t win and everything went wrong. Also possible that the kids didn’t really get how much bettr Clemson was than what they had seen.

It’s also possible that it’s one of those games well look back on in five years and say that it was a symptom of something more. Clemson is bery good, but they weren’t 35 points better than us. Their offense was average all year.

Clemson is elite in the trenches. We are not. That margin isn't small either.

Exactly. And that gap in the trenches just got even larger with Macintosh, Norton and DJ leaving this week.

First series of the game Clemson had 3rd and 6. I can't remember which DEnd it was but they were blatantly held, if you can believe it. They went on to score on the drive, then we missed the sure thing TD, wasted a turnover with a missed FG and the route was on.
