Beating the defending national champs is laughable after what we saw the last 2 weeks

List the scenarios where we get left out even with a ACC title and 11-1 record. Do we need any help?

Probably not. They are dying to put a two-loss OSU team in as the 4th team. This was a really bad loss to a bad team. They will not take us seriously after this, especially since Clemson lost to a bad team, too. ACC gets shut out.

I think we definitely match up well with Clemson. But if rosier drops a **** like he did yesterday - this could get ugly.

I’m going to the ACCCG and pull for my Canes harder than anybody, but Clemson’s DL is going to make our our OL look like a bunch of school girls and Rosier is going to get smashed. Our OL is horrid. It is going to be a prison rape. Now bring on the DV cause I don’t care. If we were playing in Hard Rock, I believe we would win, but we’re not.

We don't control our own destiny anymore concerning the playoffs. We lost to a crappy team and deserve that uncertainty.

However, what we do control is whether we are conference champs or at least whether we show up to compete in the biggest game we have had in some time.

I'm looking at 28-7 Clemson. That stadium is gonna be 90% (or more) Clemson fans. Clemson will shut down our run game with little problem and tee off on our OL. I don't see Rosier as capable of counteracting that pressure.

Think our only chance is our defense/turnover chain and the D will have to play a lot better than it has the last two games. Anyone notice that VT shut out UVA in Scott Stadium last night, the same UVA that had its way with our defense (putting up 28 points and God knows how many passing yards).

I don't know why people are treating Clemson like some unbeatable giant.

They've look shaky since the beginning of October, they should have lost that FSU game two weeks ago.

This isn't some juggernaut we're running into, they're playing pretty much exactly like we are.

Clemson def hs to win tonight. Beating a #1 or #2 team on a neutral site to win the acc would mean a playoffs spot, however if Clem loses and drops to 6 or 7. then there is room for the committee to leave out the ACC champ.
