Control the clock we win the game. Some how we need to run the ball n have a positive 2 in takeaways.

Power running team, so if 150 yds makes u a power running team, than GT , Michigan, Nebraska are what??? The hate on here is out of control.

Clemson's D line vs our OL is going to be comical. We would be better off running every play regardless of the outcome than trying to throw and getting Kaaya killed.

You realize running for just 150 yards in a game as a team is **** poor in college football, right? 93 FBS teams average more than 150 rushing yards per game. We aren't one of them.

Not to mention that Clemson has the best d-line in the conference and we have one of the worst OL units in the Power 5.

Miami: 103rd in NCAA in rushing offense.
Clemson: 22nd in NCAA in stopping the run.

There will be no controlling the game on the ground. The last time we played a team comparable to Clemson's run D, our backs ran for a whopping 36 yards on 16 carries. This OL is going to get thrashed, it'll all come down to Kaaya again.

And given what Clemson's Dline is going to do to our "Oline" (i.e. mollywop is the best way I can think to describe it), I pray for his health and safety.

We were +4 in takeaways in the VT game this past weekend and were only up by 3 points late in the fourth quarter. It took some Kayaa/Scott heroics to seal things up.

I don't necessarily agree with "controlling the clock" either - Clemson is a big play team that doesn't necessarily need 5-6 minutes to put a drive together. Controlling the clock means nothing if a team goes 75 yards down the field in 2 minutes.

We would need 4 consistent quarters of good play (and play calling) to compete with Clemson; something this team has yet to do this year is play a "complete" game.

Not sure which thread is the favorite for stupid ******* thread of the year...this thread, the Matt Patricia thread, or Chud threads....it's quite comical.

Hey there, how's it going big guy? Just here to let you know that while I don't think 150 yards makes us a power running team, 150 yards against a very stout Clemson defense when we average below 150 yards for the year means we would likely have to focus on becoming one. You know, in order to get those magical 150 yards...against a team that will ***-rape our offensive line and all.

***** Swinney is as much of a corch as Folden is.

Dude, I mean, dude. I like you and all (no ****), but what? Swinney is no Butch, but he is 67-26, 43-14 with an ACC title. He has more quality wins in a 3 year stretch in 2011 than Golden has in his career. #21 Auburn, #11 FSU, #11 VT. Later that year, he also beat #5 VT. He also has wins over LSU, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

It's only two 75+ TD runs for Yearby. It's very possible.

He fared pretty well against FSUs dline and we all knew he was going to throw the ball 70% of the time in that game once we went down 14-3.

400 yards and 3TDs later and we almost pulled it off. Only Clemson wont have Dalvin Cook.

Im not saying we win of course, just saying I dont have a problem one bit letting Kaaya gunsling it all day. Hes the one who said mind you that we would win the ACC Coastal. Why not let him go out and backup his words? (shrugs)
