Clemson fan here

Every week there's some opponent fan who joins here trying to convince us that their garbage team is going to beat UM.

This week a fan of a team that's actually good joins and somehow can have a civil discussion without coming off as a jackass.

Kudos Clemson guy Like many have already said, I don't hate your team or coach. I just want you to lose this week.

Yeah, hard to hate Clemson. Their fans come across as decent folks, unlike those obnoxious, condescending ND fans thatcame on here and tried to tell us how lucky we were to share the same field as their vaunted team - jerkoffs.

When Clemson, FSU, Miami and VT are at their best, I put those 4 up against the top 4 SEC teams any day of the week.

Agree 100%. I never knew how ND was until we played they few years ago in the storm but holy crap they cry and moan about everything. I even argued with one of thier fans that said it was raining harder when they had the ball. Smh
I also see the teams mentioned continue to tote the conference. I would also like to add L’ville but im afraid they’ll be done when L Jackson leaves.

I agree - they are insufferable and delusional.

Petrino will always find a guy to come in every few years that will make that offense click.

As for your team, what's the word on your injuries? I know Dabo said he expects them all to be ready for Saturday but just curuious what's the real word on guys like Etienne, Hyatt, Lamar, et al?

Congratulations on winning the coastal division guys. Looking forward to a hard fought game between both teams. Its also good to have Miami back on the scene. Good luck going forward no matter the outcome.

You should be the one sucking. The man posts a friendly post and an a**hole ruins it

It's kinda what I do to all new users that start their own welcome thread.

It's a Canes thing, you wouldn't understand.

Wow the hostility. I m not here to cause problems or talk ****. I enjoy your point on views on the game

We have the most idiotic fan base in football. We're not all this trashy. Ignore them.

I think he’d miss with nobody blocking. He’s young and not much experience.

I don't think you understand. Not a single kick has been missed against Miami all year. Syracuse's kicker literally fell on his *** and nailed a 45 yarder.

No question about it. Top of the ACC > Top of the SEC, it's funny even typing that.

And I agree, Clemson fans have always been pretty awesome, both here and there.

I think all are a little banged up by this point. Lamar was out last week. I’d be surprised if he plays Saturday. Also said ETN got banged a little last weekend so im not sure he’ll be 100%. Hyatt had a few missed blocks and I know he went out the game not sure if it was an injury or just needed to be rested mentally and physically. I suspect all will play with Lamar being 50/50.

Clemson fan, Miami is notorious for "playing to the competition", as well-evidenced in the VT & ND games vs. the rest of the teams we played this year. Your team should be in the VT & ND column - actually, probably much better than these 2 teams. Thus, we should come out swinging, but hey these are generally 18 to 22 year old young men and sometimes their own agenda gets in the way.

I agree. Im glad its a neutral site. I don’t think anybody would of beaten UM the night ND came to town.

hUh! The ACC championship game will be a ' nuetral ' site in NAME only. dUh. Simply because 85% of the fans in attendance will be backing mighty Clemson. Ouch.
The bottom line: this will be a DE FACTO road game for Miami. No ifs, buts or hUh.:puzzled:

Clemson guy - you are favored by 7 or more and that seems right on paper. You have more 5 stars, more playoff experience and probably a better offense and a defense that is special. If this game was in Miami, you would not make it out alive. That I am sure about. But on a "neutral" field that will be mostly packed with your fans it is an uphill battle for us. Add to that the lack of respect we get from ACC officials (no offensive holding calls in over 500 plays) and the recent all ACC teams that had only our kicker as a first team player (and he had a so so year by his standards) we know it will take an all out effort to beat you guys. Is our team capable of that at this stage of Richt's time in Miami? That is the question. Perhaps. Perhaps not. If you asked us before last Friday, we all thought we were ready for you guys. Now, some of us are having second thoughts because Pitt was as sorry as Syracuse (for the year overall and not on the day each team played them). So maybe you have a doubt in your mind like we do. One thing I think will happen is that this will be a really close game. Both defenses are excellent when the offense does its part. I am going to wish for a great game by both teams. But make no doubt that these teams will dominate the ACC for the next five years and we will meet many times in the Championship game. And maybe by then, we will actually get an offensive holding call on year 5, lol.

Well done sir

OP,

Welcome to CIS. I was so happy with what your team did to Al Golden a couple of years ago that I thanked every Clemson fan I met at Disney in December of 2015. Now, I hope UM repays Clemson with a savage beat down.

all but Tigers#1 in the other thread. what an arrogant prick.

Good to hear from you Clemson guy. I live in in conflict. My daughter graduated from Clemson (92) and my son graduated from Auburn(90). Both support their schools but both were raised to be avid Cane fans. I see this championship game as depending on which team shows up on both sides. With us will It be the team that beat ND and VT or the one who played Pitt,Va. The same goes for Clemson. We both know that there is a thing called Clemsoning whether Dabo wants to admit it or not. I'm real proud of my Canes. We put together a great season with a team with holes in it. You have the edge in talent but if we bring our A game it could be interesting. As you have seen our fans are intense. That's a Cane thing.

You can stay OP I like a guy who comes in here with some respect (and a little bit of thick skin) but that POS Tigers #1 or whatever can eat a ****

Why can’t more trolls be like Clemson guy....he actually has a brain.

I wouldn't be too worried, Clemson fan...our starting QB has checked out mentally.

Also you'll have great field position on each one of our 10 punts because our punter is the WOAT.

Lastly, our HC is an awful play-caller now. He's old and set in his ways. expect no motions, shifts, or creativity. your defense will be able to line up and play...which is scary.

CLEM - 40
UM - 17

Duval - our QB hasn't checked out - mentally. He's more akin to intermittent windshield wipers - sometimes he works - sometimes he doesn't.

Our punter - let's just say he has lots of room for improvement.

I'd agree about our HC play calling - we'll probably waste a bunch of plays running AT the middle.

Difference is - I think if this team plays lights out - we're actually going to win this game.

Good facts my friend. I hope we are putting the “clemsoning” thing behind us but it doesnt help when we loose to Pitt last year and Syracuse this year. And you all should be proud of the Canes. They made a home run hire IMO and are definitely set up to represent the coastal side for many years to come. I just hope for a good clean game either way and lets make this a annual trip?
