Gators are a different level of hate than any other program. I don't respect any of our own fans who don't understand that.

The '71 Flop game is a sloppy lazy reference point. Gator hatred doesn't require that stunt. I was despising the Gators at age 2 or 3 and rightfully it should have been earlier.

ehhh this will get down voted but I don't care..

you're gonna be playing us when: our starting RB out for the year, starting TE out for year, we don't have a backup tight end ( irvin is not a backup tight end, he would have been redshirted if we had ANYONE else ), our starting DE is out, our star WR is hobbled with a season long injury, our QB is a nut case, our offensive line is a joke full of al golden specials..

I could go on, but you get the picture.. this is not the real miami you'll be playing, not yet anyway.

are you aware it's been 514 plays in a row since we had a holding penalty called on the other team?

no offense, but the refs are already gonna do their best to make sure you're going to the playoffs
 
I've hated the gators since I became a fan(1951). I never hated ND until I found out you weren't allowed to beat them like they beat people for decades. **** the gator and ND. I don't hate FSU, I just want to kick the **** out of them every year.

I've been watching this thread play out, but I gotta tell ya....You've no need to worry about penalties being called against you. Were like 550 (some odd, don't know exact number, but its mind blowing) defensive plays, without a single holding call gone our way,.. I've no reason to believe it changes this weekend!

good luck, funny how these 2 teams seem almost mirror images of each other. DL & front 7, QB's style, WR skill sets.
do believe we will need to create a turnover to win say 24 -20 Miami
 
I wouldn't be too worried, Clemson fan...our starting QB has checked out mentally.

Also you'll have great field position on each one of our 10 punts because our punter is the WOAT.

Lastly, our HC is an awful play-caller now. He's old and set in his ways. expect no motions, shifts, or creativity. your defense will be able to line up and play...which is scary.

Let's frame this for him in his native land: The Gator have the arrogance of Notre Dame but the football tradition of College of Charleston. FSU is more your rivalry with USuC as you put it.

Noles for old guys like me, are the source of countless fond memories -- right rights, wide lefts, blocked two point conversions, the beat down after their rap video. Pity would be more appropriate feeling about them. For younger fans without the 80s and 90s experiences, they could hate noles. They have a lot to get back at us for and have made a point of enjoying it.

For old dudes like me it is the gators and not even close. They are classless and ran their mouths for years without even accomplishing anything. I was there for the Flop so it has a crystal point for me, but does anyone not hate the gators? My wife grew up in SC and was USC fan. Hates Clemson with a passion. Maybe that is more like our gator thing. Maybe they our your gator thing. I don't know or care, because neither of you matter. It is all about THE U. (okay, I can see why people might hate us.)

Definitely won’t have to worry about that on Saturday. Also I’m sure our DL will have ripped jerseys by the end of the game with no holding calls on your OL.

Every week there's some opponent fan who joins here trying to convince us that their garbage team is going to beat UM.

This week a fan of a team that's actually good joins and somehow can have a civil discussion without coming off as a jackass.

Kudos [MENTION=19235]Clemson guy[/MENTION] Like many have already said, I don't hate your team or coach. I just want you to lose this week.
