Clemson fan here

Good stuff, our defense also starts with our dline, we are really talented up front and have decent depth at that position. Lb are talented but some might feel they have underachieved as a group, #55 gets the pub as guy in middle but #56 Is playmaker in our system. #4 In secondary has elevated his game to impact player levels, probably the leader of the defense at this point. The whole secondary from last year went to NFL so we had many question marks for new guys and have been pleasantly surprised. All those guys have made plays back there.

On offense, rosier can be hit or miss. He seems to be a guy that rises to ocassion of big games but as recent as last week he has shown when he can be had he is really bad. This will be the best defense we face, so we will see. Our rb #24 Is very talented and if he gets in open field he has very good straight line speed to pull away, oline can have issues opening up holes and your dline will be biggest challenge they face this season. We have talent out wide but lost our talented te to injury last week. Berrios is kind of our version of renfro, #82 Is our game breaker who teams tend to lean coverage towards but he has been playing thru injury all season. #4 Is a guy who can get behind your defense make you hold your breathe only to see ball sail out of bounds.

Special teams for us has been weak spot besides kicker, he is all conference. Kick Coverage can be shaky but they usually get the guy on ground. Who is returning kicks for u guys? If its a player like ettiene who seems to break tackles he might bust one. Our kr seems to get tripped up at 20, has talent but not sure kr is his thing. Our punter is erratic and that's putting it nicely. We lost the field position game last week every time we traded punts. We will fair catch majority of punts even if no one around. Maybe return one a game

Anything else ask away

I’ve been seeing Berrios and he is the real deal. Hope renfrow can scout as him lol. Kick returners should be ETN or feaster but ETN was dinged up past Saturday so I wouldn’t be surised to see Ray ray mcleod back returning or one of the 3rd or 4th backs. Our feild goals have been 50/50. Starting kicker was lost to injury at the first of he season.

I believe the key for Clemson is to get Bryant to complete passes. Thats been his downfall and also our secondary. I swear they get more pass interference calls than any other team.

Congratulations on winning the coastal division guys. Looking forward to a hard fought game between both teams. Its also good to have Miami back on the scene. Good luck going forward no matter the outcome.

Dabo Swinney did the Lord's work, 58-0.

Your kicker will do fine against us. Nobody has missed a kick against us all season.

Clemson fan, Miami is notorious for "playing to the competition", as well-evidenced in the VT & ND games vs. the rest of the teams we played this year. Your team should be in the VT & ND column - actually, probably much better than these 2 teams. Thus, we should come out swinging, but hey these are generally 18 to 22 year old young men and sometimes their own agenda gets in the way.

I agree. Im glad its a neutral site. I don’t think anybody would of beaten UM the night ND came to town.

Good talking with you guys. I’ll be back throughout the week and if you get bored and want some good laughs take a look at tigernet.com there’s alot of BS but some folks are reasonable

I honestly think we play down because we try to keep things verrrry vanilla against those other teams, no one can tell me otherwise. On defense we sit in 4-3 base with basic zone behind it. On offense very few wrinkles.

We play a big game and we are doing reverse passes and wildcat and on defense we have dbs at dt position for spy and different blitz packages custom to that teams offense. The Clemson off coord mentioned as much about Diaz.

I don't mind that theory but it let's these lesser teams qb get in rhythm and hang around longer, we find ourselves in fog fights like uva, or lose like Pitt. Also our back up qb can't get work because we can't blow anybody out so when you do a qb switch he has 5 passes all season.. smh

Wow the hostility. I m not here to cause problems or talk ****. I enjoy your point on views on the game
Understand you are coming into the crudest rudest Cane board there is protect yourself. You seem like an honest poster.

Im good with it. I like talking football and our board has been boring with no rival fans so I figured I’d take a chance

^ Why can't we have more cross over fans on this board that don't act like a jackass.

We had Duke fans coming on to talk **** on the board. DUKE.

As for Clemson, other than the 58-0 loss, I can still remember CJ Spiller running all over us on special teams during the Shannon years.

Don't hate you guys, but I really want to beat you.

Also, on this board, do not ever say you like the Florida Gators.

It wouldn't be good for you. ;)

Clemson guy - you are favored by 7 or more and that seems right on paper. You have more 5 stars, more playoff experience and probably a better offense and a defense that is special. If this game was in Miami, you would not make it out alive. That I am sure about. But on a "neutral" field that will be mostly packed with your fans it is an uphill battle for us. Add to that the lack of respect we get from ACC officials (no offensive holding calls in over 500 plays) and the recent all ACC teams that had only our kicker as a first team player (and he had a so so year by his standards) we know it will take an all out effort to beat you guys. Is our team capable of that at this stage of Richt's time in Miami? That is the question. Perhaps. Perhaps not. If you asked us before last Friday, we all thought we were ready for you guys. Now, some of us are having second thoughts because Pitt was as sorry as Syracuse (for the year overall and not on the day each team played them). So maybe you have a doubt in your mind like we do. One thing I think will happen is that this will be a really close game. Both defenses are excellent when the offense does its part. I am going to wish for a great game by both teams. But make no doubt that these teams will dominate the ACC for the next five years and we will meet many times in the Championship game. And maybe by then, we will actually get an offensive holding call on year 5, lol.
