I never said that, not sure anyone else has either. If so I apologize. This is about a run. They are on a run that if they win Monday, they probably don’t lose next year. We may never see this again

Ok, prob the bourbon. That being said, what kinda odds you want to give me on “they probably don’t lose next year”? I will take the other side of that bet large...now what?

Go Canes!

I don’t gamble but if I was a gambling man, I would bet 1k that they make it to the title game. In fact Monday is probably the hardest game left in Lawrence career

I was just thinking the other day that if not for Clemson, the ACC would probably have kicked Miami out by now. Since the revenues are shared equally, Clemson brings money to the conference but Miami has done nothing for the conference for basically two decades. Eventually FSU will get built back up and will challenge Clemson for the Atlantic division champ. Miami shouldn't really have competition on our side of the division but Miami has been well... you know.

Hot take: I think if Miami had hired Cristobal instead of Diaz, Miami would have been capable of dethroning Clemson by 2022.

If they win Monday, I have a difficult time seeing any team beating them next year. Not d*ck riding but just as a a college football purist, is it so wrong to acknowledge that we could be seeing a once in a lifetime run during the modern era?
On the heels of bama I don’t think anybody’s gonna be dazzled by Clemson.

Respectfully, I’m not sure you realize what kind of run this has the potential of being if they win Monday.

Sir, if they win Monday, they could possibly go undefeated for THREE straight years. Just think about that. This is during the PLAYOFF era.

We just saw Bama win 5 titles in 9 years...

I get it. And it is amazing. But at the same time they play in an embarrassing conference with absolutely nobody else even in the same universe... ****, The ACCCG is a gimme.

when u look at the quality of wins Clemson would have in the regular season, it’s not impressive.

And in the playoffs, the first game Opponent doesn’t belong on the same field as Clemson.

That’s very fair

They have had Watson and Lawrence. Two QBs that should win NFL MVP. Anytime you have the best player in the sport on your team in football or basketball, you’re the favorite to win.

If not the best they’ll be real close. We had a mean run in the late 80’s, early 90’s, & the early 2000’s
