I dont blame you. After soooo many athletic qbs have struggled in the NFL and were better throwers than Watson in college, these guys some how think he is different from the rest.

They also think my points have been refuted cuz he got drafted.

Trying to predict how a college QB will perform in the NFL can be difficult. There have been plenty of can't miss college QBs who have flopped at the NFL, and there have been plenty of good college QBs who no one thought would be great or even very good NFL QBs that have long and productive careers. I put Tommy Brady in that category.

A QB's success at the next level has a lot to do with the team that they end up on and whether that team drafted the player with the idea that they would tailor their offense to the skill set of the player or whether they try to fit the player to their system. RG III, for instance, tore up the league and became offensive rookie of the year running an offense tailored to what he excelled at in college. He had an unfortunate injury that changed the course of his career running that system, and the next coaching staff attempted to put him under center, which he was not prepared to do. The results were then predictable.

I don't follow Clemson, but obviously I know he led them to two national championship appearances, including winning the tltie this past season, and that he performed very well on the big stage. I thought I would pull up Watson's stats to see how he performed statistically over the course of his career so anyone who wishes, can see them for themselves.

Having looked over them I would say that he's been an excellent QB - statistically - up to this point. I think he has a good chance to do well in the NFL, but again, I believe that will depend on what kind of system he's in and the players around him. I also think the Texans drafted him 12th with the idea that he would be their future franchise QB. That just seems logical to me. Here are his numbers.

You got too many participation trophies as a kid if you can't​ own your loss for "lol"ing a #2 ranking for a team that ends up winning it all. Tough way to go through life.

Im STILL 'loling" because my only claim was that he is not a good passer. period. All of the extra **** your mentioning is your way of deflecting because you cant refute any of my ACTUAL points about his passer ability.

I never said the guy wasnt a good athlete or dynamic football player. Just that he isnt that great of a QB.

i had this same exact argument about RG3 and got the same backlash. won 350.00 bucks off of that too.

AGAIN THE BUMP MAKES NO SENSE!! Because even still he struggles to throw the ball when forced to stay in the pocket. Which is my point since the inception of this debate. I dont give af how much he wins. Tebow was a winner too.....
