clearly gorlden isnt going anywhere

Fire D'Onofrio. That will force Golden to leave.

Al G. has the last say on the hiring & firing of his coordinators, as that IS a clear component of Golden's contract with the U.

Admin can only fire D'On ofrio in the event of malfeasance (i.e., Carl Pelini) and or gross NCAA (i.e., John Blake) violation .

D'Onofrio will be here as long as Al G.

O&G, you'd be better serve praying that Al G. & D'onofrio with At Pittsburg and whatever bowl game UM plays in.

With 5 losses already in the book, chances are UM won't get even a marquee team, and as consequence, winning out probalities are great... and brah, that's the surest ticket of the Temple team leaving town because winning out will make them attractive to teams needing head coaches. Leaving voluntarily would also cause us not to lose the top recruits we have in the bag , and that's the real winner for the U. Winning out is a win win situation for all involved.

I have to believe that a change will be made. Dorito has to be gone. My guess is that Al will try to shop dorito around so he can leave on his own. The problem is that I simply cannot believe that dorito has any market value as a DC right now. Who's gonna take him?

He can point to the 15th rated defense. Our fans may know better, but that doesn't mean that the people who hire coaches at academic institution have a clue. There are plenty of examples that say they don't.

...and Al Golden can point out after winning the last two games that he has even turned the U around...heck, if UM destroys Pitt, Al G can even say then that he has turned the U around, and while folks think that AG sucks... "that doesn't mean that the people who hire coaches at academic institution have a clue. There are plenty of examples that say they don't." And you get two departures for the price of one!

New DC has to be someone with lots of experience so he can step in as interim HC if/when Al gets canned next year. My pick is Ed Orgeron. Would also probably land us an unexpected recruit or two by Feb.

I hope Dorito and the entire staff are retained. Every coaching change made gives more things Golden and his shameless supporters can point to as excuses for the inevitable terrible losses in the hopes of buying him more time. He's had three years to figure out if these coaches can coach or not. The window on that grace period is now closed. He doesn't get to throw them under the bus now just to save his skin for a little bit longer.
