how did Kul develop Greg when Kul left to Bama in February of 2018……..you know Greg’s first year on campus
Was he doing remote learning before it was a thing?
If true, amazing work with a cast on his broken ankle

This is such a preposterous take
How would you grade your own takes?
Did we? Cause we were hearing from the jump how disruptive he was
That's fair to say that. but here's the problem with it when Greg came in he's was getting developed by Kool and it was the year BEFORE the portal started... Before that point it just was what it was. And again that was Kool who developed Greg which he'd tell you repeatedly out of his own mouth.
I'm waiting on the push notifications of Urban Meyer quitting on Jacksonville due to health concerns, spend time with his family. Then accepts the head coach title at USCw.
All this depends on what expectations you had for this team..me it was 10 wins. Way to soon to actually judge what this team will be come November..if we win 10 plus games does margin of victory matter that much? Are we in that position talent wise to be worried about margin of victories..for me its a no. Again all this depends on your expectations. And as Miami fans, are expectations are delusional to both degrees. At the end of the day it’s about W/LLegit question and not trying to pick a message board fight - what have you seen from Manny that makes you think he can fix the issues we have in 10 games? Are you banking on his ability to adapt? Because he’s already changed both sides of the ball and we still struggle in the same ways that we did in 2019. If he wins an extra game this year but shows the exact same issues that we know for sure sets his ceiling as an 8-9 win coach, are you cool with that? If yes, do you think he has the ability to overcome that ceiling? If no, why keep him? TI
that fan base is dreaming again.... they have Urban Meyer on the brain...What makes you think he would want to coach USC? His deep California ties? He needs the money? I can guarantee you one thing, Texas offered more money to Meyer than USC ever could and Meyer turned them down. He'd quit for Notre Dame and that's it. Seeing as ND almost lost to FSU and Toledo, that gig might be more available than we thought.

Kelly has got to be on his way out at ND. I remember a couple years ago they wanted him gone then he made a run only to get blasted in the playoffs. That’s the ceiling with him. Gonna get rocky up there this year. What makes you think he would want to coach USC? His deep California ties? He needs the money? Waiting 7 years with Helton got USC where exactly? Time doesn't determine if a coach is good or not. In 1 year you can tell if there is something to wait on or not. Diaz lost to FIU and La Tech and now we are hereFiring a coach every 3 years seems to working for literally NO ONE.

Diaz them did develop Rosseau, just like Golden and No D developed Muhammad Wilkerson. Problem is neither can develop a team, a cohesive unit that can play with any team thats not str8 garbageDid we? Because he came in as a skinny twig who was not ready to start.
Besides, the point was about recruiting HS kids vs. transfers, so don't try to bullsh!te everyone by claiming that Rousseau shouldn't count for "development" because he was some finished-product-ready-to-start as a true freshman.
"Disruptive". Hilarious. So, yeah, Miami didn't develop Rousseau at all. Because "disruptive"...
So a guy has to suck as a true freshman before Miami coaches get any credit? Come on now, how dumb does that sound...

Is it the sole cause or just a symptom of a deeper problem? There’s no upside in keeping a guy around after you’ve seen enough.
Yeah they did . He is still a garbage coach. No one has to take away anything positive from him. The game results speak for themselves. We had Rosseau when we lost to FIU and La Tech and Phillips when they got dragged for 800 yards. He needs to develop a team.OK, but we did just develop a first-round DE, right? Like, my eyes didn't deceive me, right? That's the only point I was making.
Yeah I got a little insight on SC when nephew was getting recruited. Bohn was the AD at cincy when they hired Fickell. That 100% is his guy. They’re close. He made Helton juice up the support staff like crazy that’s why they made waves this past off season in that department. I really think it was also to make the job appealing to the next guy.
Coach Arce is a cool dude. Coach Vic Sooto is a goof. He really thought they had a chance at JTT and tried pulling a oh one spot left if JTT commits that’s the spot, so you can commit now if you want so he ghosted their OV and was already at Stanford. He’s a **** recruiter, lot of other kids were bashing them said they were phony guys in recruiting.
SC should/will go big with the staff. My question is if it’s Fickell, does he get Marcus Freeman to jump ship?
Looks like he could be Bubba Bolden's dad lolView attachment 154503
Donte interim. He’s one guy that I’d be betting on being retained.
