Clay Helton update

Yeah and Diaz has been here for 6 and he has players who have been here for 5 and 6 years even. On defense very few players should be in confusion of what they are doing. Most experienced team in the country. Its a crazy concept i know!
Ok man lol.

how did Kul develop Greg when Kul left to Bama in February of 2018……..you know Greg’s first year on campus

Was he doing remote learning before it was a thing?
Actually he was teaching him his entire senior year as the kid was **** near living on campus before he came in December. Greg was kools pet project. But you feel free to believe what you want. I know I wouldn't believe a high school kid learned anything before he got here if he wasn't my nephew's roommate and said it himself. U got that though Killa. Again the point was post transfer portal. I know how the add kicks in with u

Again, I only responded to the point that we had developed nobody, zero, zilch. I just named one FIRST ROUNDER off the top of my head.

Coaches come and go. You can't suddenly start/stop giving credit like that. Besides, GR played in Manny's defense, so whether he learned technical skills from one coach and was given the opportunity to play within the system by another coach, it's a team effort.
Kool. So ur argument is you were responding to a statement that has **** to do with what my statement was. Since I said clear as day what our problem has been SINCE WE STARTED TARGETING TRANSFERS... the comment was about what we've done since the transfer portal opened. I guess you cant comprehend that factor or why there would be a difference... You all get hot at kids that take shots on their way out about how they were lied to and how good they made it sound before they got on campus... This is exactly what they are talking about.

Literally the first time you’ve said anything about Kul teaching Greg

You’ve mentioned plenty how Simpson was key in Greg’s development in his short time on campus but I digress not getting into a spat of who said what

Because Jess reinforced hand placements and techniques kul emphasized his first few months with him. But it's not relevant to me either way cause again the point I was making was only about emphasis on the transfer portal. Have a great night bud.

I think Fickell will turn it down and Stoops will get it.

Theres no point for Fickell to go there with the program going to a bigger conference.
IDK but I feel pretty sure it won't be anyone with any kind of "unsavory" or questionable history. USC is still paying their way out of all their past issues. The new President won't go for bringing in future trouble , no matter how good a football coach he is.....

Watch USC get Meyer next year lol

i was meaning more in relation to the season and it being week 2

but are we going to just pretend like Manny hasn’t been here since 2016? Y’all act like he inherited some monster rebuild. He was on staff the entire time and left for like 3 days. We were one year removed from playing in a NY6. I think we’ve had enough of the Manny experience
Well if you want to look at it that way, Helton has been with USC since 2010, so they gave him 11 years..............I mean if we are going to compare apples to apples, then lets grab some apples.......

We don’t have championship talent…carry the **** on

I don't get how u say this things as if thats not gonna be an indictment of the 6th year coach. He can make excuses for the Offense but he has been on charge of the defense. He had 2 4 year LBs, 4 years to bring in proper under studies, not only look at the state of the position now, look at the state of the recruiting. If you remember it was Golden who target Shaq and Mike etc. They chose to stay, but since Diaz them had the opportunity to scout and recruit, we see the result. You don't get championship players hy magic, its all on the coach, and in his 6 years, terrible depth everywhere if not for the Portal. Bad evaluation, even worse development

Agreed i think Cincinnati will be very good in the big 12 pretty early
And even if they arent, their main issue isnt coaching. It might be their lack of talent, but the Big 12 is still a big name and a selling point in the recruiting world. There are worse places to go to, especially given their current success and their ability to develop NFL talent.

What an ignorant post. Transfers have existed for decades, and Miami has targeted transfers and JuCos for decades. And the only reason that Miami "started targeting transfers", as you mistakenly call it, is that we were only able to sign 18 HS kids in Manny's first year, so we had a pile of ICs to hand out.

The Portal is merely an announcement mechanism to allow contact, when transferring (and an informal "transfer portal") has existed all along. Not to mention, "immediate eligibility" is something that has only been around for one year.

So, yeah, Miami has not "developed" any HS-recruited DEs into first round draft picks in the last year or two. Wow, what brilliant insight.

You win. You and your selective stats and dates. Yes, even though the "Transfer Portal began" and "Miami started targeting transfers" in 2019, we cannot possibly credit Rousseau's development to his playing time during the 2019 season (and 2019 coaches), as everything he ever learned happened in Fall 2017 while he was still in high school and Kuligowski was conducting secret sessions with him.

Sure, Kuligowski did all kinds of volunteer coaching, in addition to his day job, to develop Rousseau while he was still in high school. Sure. Happens all the time. Position coaches are always doing pro bono work with 3-star recruits.

Good lord, the absolute NONSENSE that gets porsted on this board, and you think you have credibility because you have a relative who went to UM. Yep, Rousseau's roommate knows everything that Kuligowski did while Greg was still in high school. Hilarious.

At least your log-in name is accurate, since you are full of it.
