"The U.S Department of Education allows schools to establish their own structure for adjudicating Title IX complaints within certain guidelines and standards. The agency requires anyone involved in the grievance procedure to have adequate training in handling complaints of sexual harassment and sexual violence."

The lady is complaining they hired a gator booster to hear the case. Given the adequate training requirement, wouldn't have to be a gator or a nole? Can you get more experience anywhere else?

I've spoken with Jake Schickel a couple of times and he was always fair-minded and reasonable. Despite that, this is a ridiculous move by UF as they must avoid any appearance of impropriety at this hearing.

Did anyone else catch the subtle stabs at Miami by stating "from Miami" after introducing each of the accused? As if trying to tie The []_[] to this incident.

I just don't understand how these admins and universities continue to **** this up so badly? After everything that has gone on the last 5 years, why does this still happen? I'm not here to debate facts of the case or whatever, but I'm so confused as to how the response to **** like this and the review process continues to be so bad

Real question is what the **** are universities doing getting involved in felony accusations. They should gtf out of the way and let our existing court system handle such cases.. its not TPing the quad.

BTW didn't FSU get like a state supreme court judge to hear the Winston case... and UF going for a booster? lol

Yeah, this isn't an honor code violation, it's a crime.

Wonder why the girl elected not to go to the police? It simply does not make sense for universities to handle criminal actions.

That's how these smaller town SEC schools work.

They value football so much that protect the players at almost all costs.

Fsu is same way.

I wonder if any of you complaining thought the same thing when the Attorney General met with the spouse, in private, of a subject of investigation? This type of stuff happens all the time on all levels.

Maybe because she wanted some measure of justice, but didn't want the years of your life and **** shaming that most vics get through the regular criminal justice system.
