Heads up: somebody's about to come in here and tell you to shut it about 2017 until after NSD. And that somebody will be correct.

Better get good grades.
Who ever is doing the highlights needs to find more plays. Blocking, catching, special teams...

Lastly, if he is dead set about walking on at Miami then you better be ready to pay the bills unless he gets aid. If you can afford to pay the bills then send him to the camp this summer so he can meet the coaches and players... You should attend too.

Highlights are scarce because they don't really put in the time for JV as far as highlights go. He was a sophomore playing behind two senior backs that split time this past season. He will start this upcoming season if he continues to outwork everyone on and off the field.

He's great student, he wants to study biomedical sciences. If he's not able to go to UM, he'll probably end up at Arizona, ASU, Okie Sate, or OU. I believe he will earn some aid where ever he goes.

Good on him. Maybe the conversation next year about getting him to Miami will be a more real possibility IF he does earn the starting spot and plays well. Someone mentioned camps - those will get him exposure, especially if he shows out. He needs to take every opportunity to up his profile.

In those limited highlights, I like those runs. Good pad level, runs through contact, vision isn't bad--has good patience...speed is OK, but could improve...has good quickness, though.

Just tell him to keep working, and if Miami is the goal...make sure it's a clear goal to get to Miami, and do everything needed to get there.
