Wrote this back in February after we initially offered, but it still applies:

Prototype size at 6'4 210+ with big frame that will easily get up to the 230 range once in a college S&C.

Plays in a Spread offense for a good 5A school down in Frisco, productive pass catching TE that basically plays as a WR, had 47rec 648yds & 5TD's.

Has terrific hands, kid catches everything that's thrown his way & is an advanced level route runner for a HS WR/TE. He understands how to beat coverages with his feet, his fluid motion getting in out of his breaks allows him to get separation at the top of his routes using good stem technique. Every route looks the same, which is great, DB's have no idea if he's running a post, curl, comeback, corner, dig or a go which gives him the advantage down the field.

Very high upside prospect & would be a perfect fit in our offense, reminds me of Noah Fant.

Welcome to the U!!! 🙌🏾

Let's get the #TexasToMiami pipeline fully up & running! 🔥🔥🔥
Sorry if you’ve already posted about this, but what are your thoughts on Arroyo and Brantley as a duo? How do you think they compliment each other?

He has a bigger frame. Brantley is more sudden, and likely better after the catch. Brantley i would put on the move.

Brantley will be alot like Charles Clay is in the nfl but Brantley actuallly has a route tree of a wr.

Brantley does a lot of damage from the HB position is his film. I can also see he killing seen routes with his straight line speed. They will definitely be a nasty duo.

Elite TE haul, the best haul in the country IMO.

Brantley is a tough H-Back style TE with very good hands, that plays physical, aggressive & fast, he lines up a WR as well as in line & he's a lot like Brevin Jordan. He's a pure dawg & has the tenacity that we need, he's a high motor player that goes one speed & one speed only, he'll be a locker room leader.

Arroyo is a phenomenal pass catcher, has great hands & is a sophisticated route runner, fluid long strider with very good top end speed for a TE.

I think Mammarelli & Arroyo will be the big chunk yard chain movers that will stretch the field vertically, while Hodges & Brantley will move the ball in short area yardage situations where they can be effective in multi use TE/H-back style plays.

Arroyo & Brantley are both very good & high talent TE's that will be both make an early impact once they hit campus, I don't think either one redshirts next year IMO.

You think Brantley will be big enough to contribute early on offense? I love his game but that’s my only question with him. How big can he get without sacrificing his juice?

I wouldnt put more than 20 on him which is doable.

He can play here at a solid 6'2 225-230. He has a pretty big lower body with chance to add some up top. I would keep him around the 220-230 range

OT but i think Brantley is underrated in this class. He has the skills on the field and attitude in the locker room to spark some positive change in this program. He'll want the ball thrown to him on 3rd down in the 4th quarter against FSU..

He can very easily play between 225-235lbs. His frame is stout enough to add weight & maintain explosion.

He's a kid that thrives in the weight room too, so weight won't be an issue for him once he gets into a college S&C program. He's also going to be an EE too, which will benefit him greatly.

Having elite recruiters on O is started to show....Hickson pulling Knighton, Fields snagging KSmith from Cali a night before ESD ended, and this year you have Justice pulling in Rodriguez, Likens linked to several big time WRs, and that's not even discussing how Hyppolite and Lockette are quietly putting in work behind the scenes as ACE SoFLA recruiters for us. Chips are starting to fall boys.....
