chickillo hasn't cleared waivers yet...

If they kept him on the initial 53 over Green, then he is probably taking Greens spot on the PS tomorrow.

It was pretty clear that he needs a year or two of development before he could be a 3-4 edge rusher. He is raw and not ridiculously explosive

But like somebody said, the Steeler are supposed to be moving to a 4-3 anyway.

No way golden held him back im sure this had to be a mistake chick was the next great one golden held him back would of been the first pick in the draft cant be true

Correct.

If somebody can generate that much initial burst in that amount of time, you don't use that burst to slam head up into a 300+ lb. OT...that's just sheer & utter stupidity.

But the problem runs deeper than that, Chick had to play 3-4 DE because of this staff's futile attempts at recruiting the position.
Not saying 3-4 NTs come a dime a dozen, but they've been easier to find than NATURAL 3-4 DEs.
Pierre was a blown up 3-4 DE...Kamalu is a blown up 3-4 DE...and it seems like they're trying to blow Thomas up into a 3-4 DE. ****, McIntosh is about the only NATURAL 3-4 DE they've been able to land.

Just dumb to continue running a defense when you're recruiting a critical position at that slower than snails pace.

Read all the comments in this thread. The subject is Chick and whether golden misused him. So yes people in this thread were attacking Chick in an attempt to defend golden. If either of you two retards can't comprehend that not much I can say to make you understand. Also if you weren't attacking Chick then my post wasn't directed at either of you.

CT was ALWAYS gonna put on weight. He's gonna wind up being 280 and he should wear it well. He was 240 in high school without hitting weights and he's always had the frame to tack it on.

Kamalu came in at 6'6 270 and has put on D-1 weight since stepping on campus. I don't think he's been blown up.

Now Pierre is a different story. He's 6'4 or 6'5 and should have maxed out 280-285 and played 3 technique as opposed, but as you stated, they've sucked at recruiting 5 techniques and they blew him up to cover for it.
