I guess he's not killing it in the pros and making Golden look stupid for making him gain so much weight :U5PyXda: I was hoping that story would live on.

Funny how the Golden girls were happy that Chick made it but as soon he is cut, they celebrate a cane getting cut. He will still get fired but you can play with his man **** at West Pennsylvania State.

THIS! Kid should have never lost so much weight. Like it or not, he spent the past 4 years learning some of the disciplines of a DE. Deciding to lose all that weight and try to be a LB now? It makes me wonder what Chick thinks of himself? Is he just not strong enough physically to be a DE at all?

I remember when he posted a picture of his scale and talked about how fast he was now that he lost the weight - I love him for making the sacrifices at UM however this guy is not the player everyone wanted him to be - just another guy
 
Yup. I had to read post after post from these Chick slurpers and program haters.

I think he was a solid player, but this board posts a lot of irrational biased nonsense.

I do not know, I am not their GM. I listen to foxsport radio and I can't remember who was being interviewed but they were talking about the transition of the steelers from LaBeau's 3-4 to more of the tampa 2, what Tomlin likes.

Yep keep ****ting on a former player to defend golden. NFL or not he was misused here.

I like Chick right much, and it says a lot about his ability to try out for an NFL team in a position he never played and almost make the cut. 3rd gen Cane, I hope he gets another shot to make money in the league.

Company line and coaches over players, I guess. The weird part is that, in the position Golden and staff placed him, the UM version of Chick looked like a guy who should never even sniff an NFL team. Whatever happens in his career, it was already obvious that he did less here than he should or could have. If you disagree with that, I'd like to here why.
