CJ Carr praise?

We shut down our entire operation on both sides of ball, I know the big bust was what everyone remembers but there was a 10 yard hitch where we had a corner like 20 yards deep and nobody underneath. There wasnt anyone within 10 yards, we basically prevent and conceded the entire drive at that point.

We really just wanted to stop playing football. 4 minunte offense and prevent on defense for entire 4th qtr. is insane.

And imagine the 4th quarter numbers if our defense hadn't botched the pass coverage on ONE PLAY.

It's impossible to know whether or not he'll be a good QB. There was nothing in that performance that showcased something that was above average, other than his moxie and nerves. Some times that's great for a QB. But Emory Williams beat Clemson and almost beat FSU with similar offensive game plans and similar moxie/guts.

For our sake, I hope he balls out going forward. Would love Notre Dame to go 11-1. That Texas A&M game will be an easy one to root for Notre Dame.
Hmm, okay I guess you and I were watching a different game. According to what I saw and I've watched the game twice he was instrumental in all 3 of ND TD's. One run right uo the gut for a TD for about 10 yeards and another one doing his best Cam Ward impression of making our DL look silly as he scramles all over the field avoiding a big loss then throwing a TD pass. Without him the game wouldn't been close at all. Yeah, the freshman didn't show anything that was above average LOL LOL LOL

Why is everyone in the media saying how impressed they were with Carr on Sunday? His final stat line looks fine but he had 86 yards entering the 4th qtr. We went to softer coverages with a 21-7 lead where he put together 1 drive, then got 65 yards on a busted coverage. Anyway on to Bethune

Call it what it is. The fact he didn't come out there and look like Wimbush and Book back in 2017 is where the hype is coming from.

Kid was poised, didn't fold late and really just had the one mistake—the RPO where he shouldn't have tried to thread it into double coverage, where the ricochet put the ball in Bain's hands.

Got great coverage on that one touchdown pass and scored another with his legs; rallied the Irish late.

All of the "HardRock is gonna eat him alive" stuff was put out to pasture and he hung in there.

The only story that matters was Miami whipping Notre Dame in the trenches. That really was just a sight to see.

People expected that to be a dogfight and Carr to crumble. In the end, Carr hung tough and it was the Irish o-line and d-line that folded like a cheap suit.

Now let aTm finish the job and send these bozos to 0-2 so they're out of the CFP hunt by mid-September and get them to match last year's entire loss total two games into the season.

Would love nothing more than the Irish's 2024 to be DOA in 2025.
