Not to beat a dead horse but if he brings JS with him to pair with jojo and toney next season… nah not even gonna think about it.

Gimme Mensah instead
Yeah that’s dog**** defense right thereCombined 455 yards rushing with a quarter to go.![]()
LOL....sounds like Gameday brain surgeons hyping Duke’s QB and Manny’s crew is getting their *** handed to them. Why does everyone hype every sophomore QB? Just because they have experience doesn't make them great. I haven't seen anything from Bailey, Lagway, or any other former freshman starter that screams must get. They're all just potential. Show me a full season of play that proves you're top QB.
nawGimme Mensah instead
Lol.Mensah is getting paid more than Beck. Lol. He’s pretty good but it would take too much money.
Quite the oxymoron every season.
1. Gas up the HS QB we recruit, championing them as the future of the program while also simultaneously
2. Claiming the next QB of the future plays for a different CFB team.
Some if not most of u guys would’ve made excellent, prototypical Jehovah’s Witnesses w this cognitive dissonance.
It's not possible to do the two in unison. High tier high school QBs aren't going to want to come here to want to sit or compete with high tier transfers or vice versa. The college game isn't made for competition any longer. You doubt that just take a look throughout the country and find a place balancing both top tier transfers AT QB & top tier high school QBs at the same time... You might try to say Oregon last year or maybe even Ohio State. I wouldn't agree, but you might make that argument. It ends with them though to even argue. We should always be recruiting guys out of HS, but it also makes sense to bring in proven commodities.
For example, Lincoln Riley hit homeruns with the transfer QBs, then the offense took a step back with Spencer Rattler, who was a 5-star prospect.
You sure? You don’t think they would promise a jr qb the job over 2 freshmen? 1 who needs to gain a lot of weightI haven't been a fan of CJ Bailey's. To me even his success only comes against marginal competition. But I'd have to say he does seem to be developing at a level I personally didn't believe he had in him. That being said if he continues to develop he's only going to be willing to transfer to a place that gaurentees him a starting spot. That ain't us. With nickel and Coleman in the fold were not promising no one nothing.

U do realize that Riley replaced Rattler w true freshman 5* Caleb Williams, right?
I like Bailey, but don't love him.
That said, is Nickel good enough to get the keys to the car as a redshirt freshman?
