UVA has a good ACC defense and a good running QB a lot like GT for the last couple years. NC State is awful, CJ Bailey is awful QB. JoJo showed why he left, he wouldn’t have sniffed the field this year on our team. PoPo showed grit but is small and got run over a few times

UVA has an average defense. Today didn’t prove anything different.

As for offense, they have a WR room that had their coach say when asked about them, “we have who we have.” Yes that’s a real quote. A bunch of average RB’s. And a QB in Prebula who has been a disaster his entire career. Today doesn’t change that.

Y’all liked to hype up Popo bc he was named captain and was “changing the mentality” on that side of the ball. But word was getting out of NC State practice last week that their defense was an unmitigated disaster. That’s exactly what you saw today.

Coming out of HS I called him James Blackman with a better supporting cast but I thought he'd be better developed than James was. Idk what NC State is doing up there but he is consistently getting worse.

I was there last year. Elite intangibles, 6'6, filling out, huge hands, raw arm strength, huge physical upside the further he gets away from his high school motion.

I didn't realize he could run like he can. It's a difference-making skillset.
