**** me, this is going to be a long season.
As Kaaya gets more comfortable (or if Wiiliams returns) I would like to see Miami run the offense like Toledo is right now. They go to multiple personnel and formations, sometimes multiple TE's, and they run an up tempo attack. They are mixing in runs with short and deep passes while keeping the defense on their heels. This is how the Miami offense should be run. It would also help protect the offensive line and make it less of a liability.
Toledo adjusted at the half. I'm not confident we will adjust to them. As with every game I'll wait until it's over, but I've seen enough to know they can score on us.
I'd hire that coach for Toledo to replace Golden Al... I remember when Sam J. reached down into a mediocre (at the time) program like Oklahoma State to hire a young-up and comer-named Jimmy Johnson. He thought that JJ could do great things with the talent he could recruit in Schnelly's "State of Miami". Tubbs isn't coming here and Butch's ship has sailed.
Campbell was facing a much more talented team than his own, Brian Kelley and Butch Johnson left that program in good shape. Campbell adjusts to what's being thrown at him and plays to win, unlike Al, who plays not to lose.
I was praying to God nobody was going to start this thread.... Toledo is killing themselves though.... Cincinnati can't stop their running backs.... but Toledo QB is beyond atrocious.... The real starter is out with a torn acl... The irony of that smfh
