Is the best off season Mario , it’s actually very entertaining, watching news fees, trying to dissect Mario and his secret organization..

MC was recruited at one time after college by the CIA if I recall.
I think he also hold a black belt in Akido or a similar discipline .

He was looking at a career in the Secret Service, not CIA (at least that is what was reported). And being a former offensive lineman would make for a very unusual case officer (that’s the official job title for spooks). The whole idea is to be a “gray man” and blend in.

He did judo as a kid (Cubans love judo for some reason). and then bjj. Not sure what belt he is.

Fun fact- he began training MMA in his 20s at the suggestion of Garfield (yes the cat from the comic strip). He was working for an advertising firm and driving around a guy in a Garfield costume. Garfield got into a fight with a bunch of kids and Cristobal separated them. Garfield was so impressed that he suggested Cristobal take up MMA.
