Lot of talent.. wait until Baker and manny get fancy and make us a 6-6 or 7-5 team.

I swear we got some of the dumbest fans. What part of Al Blades is Slow??

Let me put this clear and just watch Miami have the slowest starting secondary in the ACC last year . Besides Williams and Bolden no one have showed speed to recover or even hold his side of the field. Ivey/Carter have cement shoes.

Blades was the best corner last year. I’d bet on him again because he’s already done it.

But I can tell you that the coaches are sky-high on Ivey. I think his biggest issue is confidence. He had some mentals last year which shouldn’t happen. He is too smart for that.

I'm not giving up on the kid. You have more info than most so I'm more than intrigued to see Ivey take the next step.

Problem with blades and ivey is they are slow. can’t run. All the technique won’t make up for lack of talent . It might work against average teams but not the big boys.
Slow? ****. You're the first to even bring this up? I think you're just ****ting on the kids for the sake of just ****...

You're obviously biased. Appreciate the effort but all you have is an opinion
No substance....

Viper and Striker sound like *** Top Gun names, horrible.

I like that lineup based on what we have assuming Williams can hold his own. Still do not love those CBs tbh though, esp when teams go 4 wide we lack the ability to cover.

I think the surprise defenders this year are Brooks/Harvey

I really really want to believe. If he steps up his game, the defense could be special and we would finally have some good depth also.

I don't know why y'all acting all surprise.... the only guys that run a 4.4 our Frierson, Bolden, and Gurvan and that's a maybe. I personally dont think Gurvan is that fast...forgot what game it was but he got completely our ran pretty easily. UM secondary looked extremely slow against FIU, which should never happen. Compared to the elite teams of CFB and the old UM secondary, there is definitely a lack of speed in the secondary now. The more I think about and watch tape the more slower I think are secondary is...there is definitely a lack in long speed.
