Wild how quickly things shift from the POV of the recruit. Only Cristobal and JT remain. 4 other staffers he tagged are elsewhere now (Mizzou, Memphis, ECU and FAU)

Top247 defensive lineman Christian Webb-Scott of Anderson (S.C.) Westside made a significant leap in the updated Top247, which released Wednesday.

Webb-Scott rises to No. 38 overall (No. 5 defensive lineman) after previously ranking 106th.

247Sports reported last month that Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia had made the biggest impressions to date in his recruitment.

Webb-Scott told 247Sports this week that continues to be the case; however, he added: "Notre Dame and Miami have come in hard recently, too."

Webb-Scott will see both the Fighting Irish and Hurricanes in action Nov. 7 when he travels to South Bend, Indiana, as an Irish prospect.

There is potential he visits Coral Gables, Florida, this season, too.

Look for Webb-Scott to prioritize coaching stability in his decision-making process, and both Notre Dame and Miami can tout that.

Webb-Scott visits UGA this weekend. Next weekend, he heads to South Carolina. Webb-Scott could visit Ohio State for its regular season finale vs. Michigan.

Ole Miss and Alabama have already hosted Webb-Scott this season. Nebraska hosted him for its season opener.

Texas A&M will host Webb-Scott Nov. 14 for the Tennessee game.

Which is the most important position for us in the ‘28 cycle.

Seems like they aren’t that interested in Zylen Little which makes sense if they are after prioritizing guys like him at DT.

Otherwise, this is how i see the IDL board: Christian Webb-Scott, Prince Che, Dawson Jacobs, Takeshi Savery (another hybrid like Asher?), Cory Cunningham, Caleb Tucker, and Jamarcus Johnson.

If Kellan Hall ends up making a game-day visit in November, I’d add him to the list. Likewise with Jamir Lee outta Carrolton. Would add Justice Daye to that list above if he shows up Saturday or later this year. Seems like he is supposed to be at both Miami and Blacksburg this Saturday?
