Cypher is the real deal. He is so far advanced in his development, projecting just how high his ceiling is becomes impossible. Have to retain this commitment by any means necessary. Hoping to get this kid reclassed so the fight is not as long to hold onto his commitment.

CJ Cypher is second in the state in passing yards; 50th in the nation. He is currently on pace to double his passing yards per game average (155) from last year. I pray he wears #0 in college. Streets need that although I’m coping the jersey anyway.
Many quarterbacks including our own Izzy Abrams have no stats uploaded to maxpreps quite yet so this framing is incomplete. Nevertheless:
154 quarterbacks have thrown for at least 2k passing yards so far. Only one outa of that group to have 30+ passing touchdowns, undefeated record, 3 or fewer interceptions, and 70%+completion percentage w/ 200+ passing attempts: Cj Cypher. Cypher averages 300 passing yards per game, has 35 TDs to zero INTs, 74% completion percentage, and averages 19.9 completions per game.
For comparison’s sake, #1 composite QB in ‘27 Trae Taylor meets all of the qualifications except completion percentage (65.5%).
The other quarterbacks (DGG deserves the award IMO) who are listed in that graphic w/ CJ: Jayden Wade, has IMG undefeated, but the stats aren’t enough. ~275+ rushing yards w/ 4 rushing TDs, 22 passing touchdowns w/ 2 INTs, about 1800 passing yards and ~72% completion percentage which leads to only a dozen or so completions per game.
Thompson just lost their first game 28-27, so Seaborn may drop on that list although by no fault of his own. Down 28-21, he led a touchdown drive yet the extra point was missed. They got the ball back and made another monumental drive down the field, only for the kicker to miss a <30 yards FG. No stats uploaded for game 8 yet however Seaborn is averaging 18.3 completions per game, 78% completion percentage, 287 passing yards per game, and had 24 touchdowns and 0 interceptions through 7 games.
St. James is an all-star school like IMG; and Kash Carter’s stats aren’t uploaded. Their only loss on the season was by two points to IMG.

Guy who came closest was Davis Barnett outta Alabama. Only G6 offers atm however his stats and wins will have more teams calling this spring. He has only lost to Phillip Rivers’ team; even though Gunnar Rivers did not play in the defeat.

Has been nicked up occasionally in the past, however, he has taken a major leap his senior season and looks like that program is getting a steal unless somebody else notices. It’s virtually insane how so many p4 programs who need competitive edges do not pay attention senior leaps and operate on the same timelines as better p4 programs who are securing obvious takes who have dominated since middle school. Kade leads his team in rushing yards too.
Shoutout to Eastern Michigan who actually place production above so much other nonsense when it comes to recruiting. Their QB commit Ben Paterson was the third runner-up.

yeah…..that man had nothing to do with Judd Anderson idc. Dawson is the second best evaluator / identifier / molder of QB talent in the nation IMO. Only Eric Morris has him beat.

this dude is going nuts this year, didnt post him in the senior risers since he's already top 150, but man. I'd take him in a heartbeat, plus keep Florida and Texas from tryna poach him.

Yeup, recently cancelled his visits to other schools. Texas wanted him as the Royal replacement.

CJ plays at Carrollton which is 7A football. One of the best and hardest classifications in the nation
