Chris Fowler on UM Campus?? Gameday??

Gameday is a huge get for the school, 3 hours of free recruiting, hype for the players, publicity for the school and even some love for the fans they love to **** on.

It would be a massive get and Richt and the university would jump on it without blinking.

He's there to meet with the coaches since he's calling the game Saturday. Has nothing to do with with that abortion of a show, Gameday.

/Gameday used to be my favorite show back in the day when it was only on for an hour.

Yep, nothing but a bunch of watered down bullshyte like everything else on that joke of a network

don't give two fcks about gameday but if they are here in 2 weeks it means we beat VT which will be the most important aspect of them being here.

Exactly this. They always meet with coaches to talk to them before the Primetime Games. Everyone really needs to calm their moobs about Gameday.

Yep. And I don't think they would have the on-air people scouting locations. Someone actually has a job called..."Location Scout"

I'll admit I did laugh at the thought of someone thinking Fowler was scouting locations on campus for a show he's not even a part of anymore.

i was just passing on information posted on twatter by a reporter. i never said Fowler was scouting. i just posed the question because he is no longer on gameday and I was curious if someone had a better explanation.

Thank the Big Guy Upstairs this game is home and don't have to endure this guy repeating "when we talked to the coaches this week" or "Malik told us Richt said he'd never play for him" 100x.

Another guarantee is this photo making an appearance at least once a game not matter what channel our game is telecast:

1. Rosier will never play for Richt
2. That picture
3. The turnover chain

Rinse. Repeat.

Why are people obsessed with us having Game Day?

I don’t give 2 shīts about it.

It’s only temporary publicity, it has no long term beneficial impact, and could even be considered a distraction to the coaches and players.

For as much as some people claim they hate ESPN, they sure seem to be so emotionally needy in wanting that Game Day validation.

Fūck them. Let them have their Game Days in the typical SEC rèdnėck hick town. Chris Fowler and his ilk are more comfortable in that environment anyway.

Don’t need them. Don’t like them. Don’t want them.

Our fanbase hates everything. We won't participate in a black out. We don't want Gameday. How is it possible that a team built on energy and swagger has the most "get off my lawn" type of fans?

He's in town to do interviews and dig up stories to tell during the broadcast. Standard procedure.

Gameday got extra ruined for me when they introduced Woj's little heart felt story BS and the 'walking interview' with that one lady and the celebrity pick. Just too many things are going on. Keep it on the panel and the pre-recorded interviews and game footage and thats it.

They think "oh we're Miami, we don't need this, we don't need that." Everybody thinks they're too cool for ish

I couldn't tell you where Gameday was last week, or where it is on any given week.

I'll watch it sometimes but generally am not focused on where they happen to be.
