Choc out for season

not sure why he felt the need to point out him being low on the depth chart. d!ck move in my opinion

How is it a **** move? He's pointing out that while the loss sucks, it shouldn't have much of a factor on the gameday product. It's a pertinent question, especially for people who don't know the depth chart by heart. Choc has the physical talent, but there's a reason why he is a garbage time player. A redshirt year will do him a world of good, I hope he uses it to get his academic career in order. That said, this may not end well, I don't know what this young man will do without football for a year. This is where the people in academic services and his teammates have to step up and keep him engaged.

My thoughts exactly. I don't care if the kid is a walk on that will never see the field. He's a Miami Hurricane.

I am giving Barry the benefit of the doubt here; I took him mentioning the position on the depth chart as something that was aimed at the more casual fans that might not no the depth chart well.

I took it as, "Don't worry, he wasn't going to play anyway."

Exactly, but not as disrespectful to Choc, but for the fans that don't know the roster well.

I think the wording would be different if he wasn't contained to the length of a tweet.

Would be a sweet ending to his career if he could make a complete recovery and take the power back role from Gus next year.

Yup, and he wanted to be a Miami Hurricane so badly.

WTF? He IS a Miami Hurricane and I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.Hope he comes back bigger and better and is able to get some playing time next year.

You really are slow.

What's in the road ahead? What's in the road, a head?

And I got shcitt for asking how he was doing at practice on a post last week from some but whole here! He is a Cane and hope the best for him.

I wish Choc da bestest in his recovery.

Why the fawk wouldn't you use his redshirt?

No redshirt for homer now.

I would still redshirt him, n if another injury occurs between Walton, Edwards or Yearby, then burn it.... we need to save him...

A while back i read where Richt said he regretted redshirting some RB at Georgia since he ended up leaving early anyway and that changed his outlook on redshirting (at least of RBs), cause if they're good they're not going to stick around for 5 years, so you might as well get the most out of them while you can.

On that note, here is a serious question for everyone (i have no idea what the answer is):

When is the last time Miami had a 5th year senior starting running back?

I bet there's still people here who think he should get some carries this year.

Javarris James?

I thought he was a fifth year guy during Jacory's sophomore year, but I could be wrong.

And he is a Miami Hurricane. Not everyone in the family was a start. Kid worked hard to get in. Use the year on the books and see what happens next year. HS running Qbs do not always find a position to play in college, no less the pros. Hit the books kid and get that degree.

On the bright side, if there is one, he will finally get that redshirt he desperately needed. Hate that it's this way, but hopefully this cloud has a silver lining.

Or transfer papers , he is another one who might leave . He is getting passed up by true freshman
