Chip Long

He's a good teacher and likeable coach but a lot of his scheme is very similar to Enos but with Up Tempo. Obviously he cloud have just called this scheme to fit the Notre Dame skill set but I don't think he would be a very good fit here. I've also read he's a very good recruiter

New name for the tier 2 list for me which includes rich rod, any D2 OC, and fedora

Tier one is still yost, Brady, Gleeson, and that wake forest OC whose been creeping up my rankings

sorry , but there is no universe where Fedora would be a tier two hire. He easily should be at the top of the list if he’d even consider us . He’s got more HC experience than our **** HC

If Brian Kelly thinks you're a prick.... Can't even imagine.
Maybe he was willing to stand up to Kelly instead of dealing with his bull****. We are talking about a guy who publicly blames his players for losses and sent a kid to a tower to die in a windstorm. I wouldn’t depend on Kelly’s judgement on who is an ******* or not.

Such a prime candidate for jobs he’s currently an analyst at UT working under an offense that got **** canned for their production and go into this year on the hot seat

That’s because if he takes an OC position, he doesn’t get his buyout from UNC. But he can still receive his buyout if he maintains an off the field role.

Why would he not just receive less of his buyout, reduced by his Miami salary? Or, paid less at Miami because he is receiving a buyout from UNC? The latter is a common practice. Kiffin was paid well below Bama standards his first two seasons as OC because he was drawing a buyout from USC. His salary nearly doubled when USC was paid up. Enos the same - his salary at Bama was less than $300K since Arkansas was still paying him that season. Had he remained he was scheduled for a bump to around $800K.

He was the OC the night we took Notre Dame to the shed...… their offense looked like complete sh*t vs Manny's D
Because we dominated the LOS and Wimbush sucked and Book was a freshman. Not sure how much of that is on the OC.

**** no he'll bring his slow developing humpback Notre Dame offense to Fast South Florida Football... And we'll lose every game the players won't fit.

When did Enos smash Diaz?

Long literally lost every game that mattered at Notre Dame, that's why he is no longer there.
You are correct that he lost every meaningful game, but that’s not why he isn’t there any longer. We don’t want anything to do with this guy.

I'll bite. What else did he do other than lose every meaningful game?
I mentioned it in the Enos is out thread #257. It’s in my history and I don’t really want to keep disparaging the guy. Basically he was not well-liked by players or coaches and likes to over-indulge with the adult beverages.
