No, they're not relevant because he's already proven to be an elite coach at the college level.

He is not elite. He runs an exciting offense that all of these youngsters get their ****s hard to. Until he faces a real defense.

I mean North Carolina and Oregon are pretty comparable as far as football. Chip has done more with less.

LSU lost 3 games with this offense and a nasty D.

All that talent and that O was underwhelming.

Les lost more then 2 games 6 out of 8 seasons after he lost Saban's players.

Explain what? He had all that talent and his offenses weren't very good.

He always had a poor fit at QB for whatever random scheme he was running (he shuffled OCs). If he squandered all that offensive talent at LSU, what makes you think he wouldn't at Miami?

He mentioned Texas if Strong is fired or back to back to the PAC 12. He said FSU was a slight possibility or LSU. Miami - not a chance.

I hope he is right. Kelly is not coming to Miami and that's a good thing. When Les Miles gets canned by LSU look for him to be touted on this board next. That ain't happening either but I wouldn't mind seeing him coach the Canes.

It's way more than that. They've had 4-5 stars galore and he's still three yards and a cloud of dust. Russell is the only qb that ever put up decent stats and that was his last year.

Les will never change. His way of football is dead. He's never adjusted like Saban.

For all those reasons winning football games and NCs mean a lot to me. My mom, RIP, a yankee. I asked Daddy about that and he said, "Boy, she was cute." With that in mind, I will accept a yankee coach if I think he will win us an NC. Chip is not that guy. Ten games is not enough. See, we won a bunch of battles but still lost the war. Only the last game matters. By the way, since we are supposed to be sensitive to everyone, we prefer the War of Northern Aggression.

I would say I am ok with Mark D'Antonio, which I am, but I think he is from TX, so that would not help.
