Are we sure we want him? His ego got the best of him and he let go of his best players because he believed more in his system. How do you see that ego playing out in south Florida?

Despite all these losses, the Eagles are STILL top 5 in the league on offense. That should tell you something

Your post is completely off base. Most of the fans who dislike chip attend the church of Butch Davis. You can look in any thread and see the people who dislike chip want Butch Davis over him. Butch Davis is far from urban

Take a lesson from franchise or MG2TH. As far as I've seen, they have brutally and truthfully attacked Charlie's strong resume without reverting to "You guys only want him because he's black!"

We all have connections in the league. I was one of those who wants Butch but thinks Chip could do well until yesterday. I reached out to few guys I know in the league and I no longer believe Chip will do well here or anywhere in the NFL. There are several red flags, mostly pertaining to his personality, but the most disturbing issue is that the consensus was that his offense has been completely figured out.

This guy seems like Golden X 100 according my people. I asked about the race issue and was told that Chip went out of his way to cross the line in that Desean Jackson/gang member rationale. Many players believe he has a problem with race and place (socioeconomic).
Butch or Herman, Chip is not the guy for Miami, up north or west coast but not SoFlo.
 
Tony Barnhart, who has more sources and info than anyone on this board, was on sports radio in Atlanta today discussing where Chip Kelly might go if he goes back to coach in college. He mentioned Texas if Strong is fired or back to back to the PAC 12. He said FSU was a slight possibility or LSU. Miami - not a chance.

I hope he is right. Kelly is not coming to Miami and that's a good thing. When Les Miles gets canned by LSU look for him to be touted on this board next. That ain't happening either but I wouldn't mind seeing him coach the Canes.

Yeah, he has no clue how to demand defensive excellense. He also has a Golden like ego that allowed him to boot straight up playmakers that were perfect for his system (and pass on them in the draft) to players he thought he could make work. Square pegs in round holes. Every single fault of our formerly failures corch, one Alfraud Grohlden.

Except Al Golden didn't go 46-7 and play in four straight BCS bowl games (including one national championship game).
 
Who cares? Nick Saban cost the Dolphins years by going with Culpepper over Brees. I'd still take him in a heartbeat.

Also, Chip's personality is a way overrated topic. Golden didn't lose because of his personality. He lost because he sucks at coaching.

Charlie weak has a worse record at TEXAS than Grohlden ever had at Miami. His best record matches Grohlden's worst. Think about that.
