My post assumes the doctors prognosticate a complete recovery. Dude was already walking around last week without crutches. It's not a Bo Jackson situation where there was necrosis with the tissue. And it's also not 1990 anymore. Guys, particularly 21 year olds, can recover quickly and fully.

Miami also has two 2nd's. And if Detroit really wants, say, Okudah, if they were to trade down with Carolina he'll be gone. If they trade down to the Chargers, Miami could take him. It's not just the additional picks, it's the order. Miami wins on both fronts.

I was half joking but even if he makes a "full recovery" his mobility won't be quite the same and durability is a big concern.

But if the alternative is Herbert I'll take my chances with Tu'a and pray for the best.
