Good for Chick...and Al can eat a dyck for trying to turn him into Pizza the Hut.

Chickillo of all the players can have the biggest gripe with Golden. Made him play overweight by a good 30-40 pounds. Had him on the d-line where the scheme hurt the defensive line probably the most. The fact that he is where he's at right now says a lot about how his collegiate career was flagrantly mishandled. I wish Golden nothing but failure the rest of his career.
 
Chickillo's former D coordinator is coaching at the boys and girls club and his old
Head coach is now a position coach. Enough said.
 
Chickillo had quick feet .He was not a bullrusher and Golden tried to make him one.He slowed him down and made him play to his weaknesses.

Does Pittsburgh play Detroit this season? Maybe Chick can blow up a few Lions and give Golden a big FU!
 
Here's something else interesting:

Jarvis Jones is one of Richt's best ever defenders at the college level (up there with Pollack), an absolute nightmare pass rusher, All American, first round pick.

Chickillo was misused, overweight, underachieving, lucky to be drafted.

And Chick is about to beat Jones out for his job. pretty solid example of something we all already know: we have the most potential of perhaps any program in the country and Richt has to see this as his chance to win BIG. Our scrubs outperform SEC Golden Boys at the next level. We just need someone to turn them loose while they're still here.

(Pretty sure that post makes sense, I don't know I'm all jacked on caffeine and waiting on my girl at Banana Republic right now)
 
Chick would have been a ferocious and relentless 255 pound DE in this current system. **** shame we never got to see him at his best.

To me he was like a communist dictator. He comes in with this conquering hero persona behind him. His ego is too big that he can't just leave good enough alone. Everything has to be changed. Nothing from an earlier time can exist. It's all bad and must be changed to satisfy his desire. When it doesn't work, they're not going to change anything. The people aren't doing it the right way and/or outside forces are sabotaging him.
 
Remember how well Chick played at the Senior Bowl as soon as he got away from Folden & Dorito...
Lol, they stifled so many Canes during their tenure. Now nearly every single one of them is killing it at the NFL level.
