Phillips and Roche opting out hurts, but the blow is softened by Chubba opting out.

The game is in Orlando, so it isn't like we are playing on blue turf or in freezing cold temps.

We have also won just 1 bowl game in the last 15 (?) years. Not very inspiring.

31-30 Miami. Our All-American kicker is the difference.
 
I just can't DIGEST why Phillips and Roche are sitting out. The bowl game is part of the season. Don't get it. Go at it, calling me a moron. It's bullcrap. Are they injured or covid. Please explain why they are opting out.

Gundy is a lot better at his job than Baker is. I expect an NC State type of game, not sure how it ends though. I'll be a homer and say we get the win 38-34
 
And it sends a negative message to the younger players. It's like you are abandoning your unit. You are an absconder. I'll QUIT with this SUBJECT but very big disappointment

Unfortunately I think the team has packed it in for the year, which infuriates me. That being said I'm thinking Okie state 40 Miami 24

I am not with the Slurpers on this one. While I also can’t stand people ****ting on everything, there’s no doubt in my mind that we need an accomplished and independent DC to come in and run his own scheme.

I see posts already with guys trying to make it about how our D does in this game as determining what Manny does and that’s bull****. That’s just trying to wipe out the past 2 years and trench in if Manny goes that route and keeps Baker.

I hope he does make the changes but if he doesn’t, his Dorito/Golden, Jorn/Mork moment will be etched and marked here.

Yep. There’s no excuse for keeping Baker. Idc if we win 100-0 and force 15 turnovers. His bags should already be packed.

IMO, there's already enough evidence against Baker to justify firing him regardless of the bowl game. I will take any win we can get,100-0 or 100-99. I just don't want a great defensive showing to sway opinions. I'm 99% sure Manny already knows what he's going to do this off season already but who the **** knows for sure?

Because it's 2020 and projected early draft picks don't play in meaningless bowl games anymore. Okie State has three guys sitting it out also. As fans, we think these games matter but they don't.
