This defensive scheme has been completely figured out and the lack of fundamental soundness is being completely exploited.

You can’t cover the slot with a safety. They are just attacking the holes in the zone. Playing scared on the back end is getting us killed. Put a corner on the slot and let the safety help in the run game. We have to live with whatever they can get over the top.

Dying a slow death is just gIving them all the confidence and momentum.
