I think it's safe to say Toure, another year removed from injury will be better than he was, at least initially last year. I can't tell you how LB will be better, but I'm confident in MC and Heatherman's ability to evaluate and project returning options - personnel they've observed on Greentree, even if we haven't seen them in games.

If it's 100% about Wiley being the Starter, I'd just say I ******* hope so. That's what I want and think this defense needs.

It's still objectively a fact that the UNIT as a whole did not improve this offseason. We added nobody, and lost Wes, Popo, and Bobby. **** also the day Pruitt actually plays at LB pigs will fly. Staff clearly doesn't want it to happen...

Our hopes regarding LB room IMPROVING are all about 1. Wiley and Bonner becoming legit, 2. Toure staying healthy, 3. Staff ACTUALLY playing Wiley and Bonner significantly more than Chase Smith....

If Heatherman doesn't have Wiley developed and contributing that is an area he failed. Period. Idk why y'all think Heatherman can't possibly do anything wrong? Lol. ... There is no excuse not to Have Wiley ready to start. Thats just how I see it. If Chase is starting over Wiley it's a fail on the staff

How many times does it have to be said expectation isn’t to start Smith with Toure? Smith will backup Toure. Bonner and Wiley for Will backer.

Depth is thin. Maybe we can get a summer grad transfer but it’s up to Hetherman to develop what we have.

Is there smoke to this Wiley hype or just wishful thinking?

It seems clear that it's the Toure/Chase show, followed by Bonner based on his experience and then everyone else.
 
I thought CS had a good year. His length in the box caused issues at times (pause). LB is a position where we need all the help we can get, because we have to play different guys depending on that week's matchup. Happy he is back.

Every guy in the room should get better over the offseason. Young guys especially.

Is depth bodies and/or production the same? Cuz, we have bodies...toure,smith,bonner,wiley,marcelin,pruitt,jj edwards,j campbell, k busch! We play a 4-2-5! And, 4-3...returning production in the backups is a problem
