Charlie Strong Meltdown

We should take a look at the DL/OL, maybe they are worth a spot. Perhaps Darnell Solomon as well.
 
the measurables of success in coaching are very clearly defined and it's obvious when someone does not have the
necessary skills to be a championship head football coach.

being a good position coach or a coordinator does not automatically mean a guy will be a good or successful head coach.
there are many more skills needed for that.

charlie strong was a very good DC, and other than being fortunate enough to have a great QB at Louisville, he has not had
a lot of success as a head coach.

Shoot, he may end up getting the axe as well if he has to dismiss that many players and coaches.
USF sort of got him on the cheap these last 2 years because Strong was collecting paychecks from Texas buyout,
but I think after this year USF has to pay him in full.

Didn't Solomon have some off-field issues coming out of HS?
Two of the suspended DLmen had already been kicked out of the Duke program.
Makes one wonder.

IMO, the clock is ticking on strong's time as a head coach.

Some say Strong sucks. Others say he's great especially as a recruiter. Right or wrong with what he's doing at USF I do not know, but good for him that he's doing SOMETHING when things are not right.
