Ok the old reverse racism against white coaches who make up 95% of head coaches.

That’s totally unfair and the NCAA should ban any coach who does this.

I believe Kirby Hocutt was the AD when Shannon was fired and that issue with the money owed Shannon was above the AD. Ire should be directed at Shalala the useless pinko troll.

And LB, S, and QB. They are just genetically gifted for playing football ( 40x higher proportional share of Samoans in the NFL than general US pop). They also will tend to play only at places with a Polynesian staff member or connection. Need to get someone who can tap into that pipeline on the staff.

Good points, we definitely know troll shalala had a hand in it, but that was also during the years she was grooming her lil minion fido/flake james. Im willing to bet he was all in for coach shannon not getting the money. UM has been litered with double agents the last 15 years or so. If coach diaz is smart, he'll listen to luke, who could actually help em, this is not the ole days where guys are going to keep going to colleges for nothing and the people at the crib stay dirt poor who helped to coach these kids to where they at. I could say alot more, but those who dont have a clue about luke, he always has the kid, the kids families and definitely the City at heart. If coach diaz doesnt connect, he wont have the ultimate success that he could have. Bringing in to many outsiders not gone get it done. Coach diaz is right about the culture needing to be changed, but when you dont have enuff Miami minded coaches to usher and maintain that culture, that'll continue to be just hot air!

You are not wrong about Shannon. Firing Shannon was obviously touchy with local players and coaches who had known him since his prep days and by not paying him his money it created an atmosphere where other coaches could lure players away.

The problem with Luke is he is too much of a homer on the local talent. Luke would prefer we prefer we recruit guys like TuTu Atwell at QB. This doesn't excuse all the local talent we were either late offering or didn't offer. Luke just needs to understand that UM needs to do what is best for UM and sometimes that is going out of the area to get a player.
