There has been contact. But it’s an insult to offer him less than we offered Banda in title or other. Doesn’t make any sense. He’s 3x the coach.

Once all of the info comes out about Banda, people will realize who was scapegoated, who was pampered and even who was assisted after totaling fugging over the squad and his fellow coaches. Manny still has entirely too much Al Golden in his blood.

TRob and Mason were roaming free and the offer we made to one was trash - especially considering what we did for Banda. We better not miss and keep Baker. The backlash will be ugly.

Light at the end of the tunnel may be the fact that we have two HOFers involved in the search for NFL level coaching minds on defense.

At the VERY least, Baker can't be allowed to call games.

If Diaz won't sack him, and Baker takes an emasculating demotion to Strikers coach (he's used to being emasculated, see UNC) then I'd be ok with Diaz calling the plays. Simpson coming in as DL coach. Someone from Liberty's list coming in to coach the DBs and a LB coach being brought in too.

Patke can go to coach the STs.

The fact we had a CB and S coach (albeit apparently Rumph was coaching both and Banda was a recruiter) was always stupid to me.
