Anybody who's paying attention can tell there has been a shift in recruiting strategy this recruiting cycle. In years past, this staff was way too overly concerned about burning bridges with schools/coaches, so they erred on the side of caution when deciding whether to offer a kid. It's the "honest" way to recruit, but they got burned recruiting that way. My guess is that there is going to be a high attrition rate with the 2016 class, and maybe some upset kids/coaches/parents along the way, but IMO, it's how you have to recruit these days.
