Chaney hurt again

The best ability in football is availability. I wish Chaney a speedy recovery, but it does appear some guys are more injury prone than others. The Gore situation was really a miracle in how he became so durable in the pros. I will say he changed his running style and became less explosive after his second ACL injury. But most injury prone guys don’t become Gore’s. We need more RB’s.
Less explosive?

Brown is a QB. Not a RB. He’s a real good runner…. from the QB position. Not “dynamic” or “electric” enough of an athlete to be used as a RB. He is not a Dennard Robinson body type. He’s more of like a younger version of a Cam Newton. Not real shifty. He would literally get his *** broke in half trying to do what Dennard was doing. Jit is like 6’5”.

I'm not talking about making him a long term option at RB. I'm saying we should consider it while were down to 3 scholarship RBs. I wouldn't sleep on Jaccuri, he's big AF but he can make people miss and he runs hard and is difficult to bring down

To your point:

"He looked so much better than he did last year, the way he was moving," defensive end Jack Sawyer told reporters Tuesday in Columbus. "The only part of sports that I hate is injuries. I just feel so bad for him."
Pryor's injury leaves Ohio State with only three healthy scholarship running backs in Henderson, Williams and incoming freshman Dallan Hayden, an ESPN four-star recruit.
Yea it’s definitely a problem. Clemson lost Xavier Thomas for the first half of the season with a broken bone in his foot, Texas just lost their #1 receiver for the year, Florida’s backup QB got injured and is out for the year, etc. This is why you’re hearing more and more NFL people saying they want to do away with preseason games completely. Dudes are so big, strong, and fast now this is the risk you take. Like I said though, you have to go through some full contact before the season starts so I’m not sure what the solution is.

Not sure where the 2/3 and 4 weeks talk is coming from but that’s not accurate
Have you heard of any late minute portal options that could potentially be added??? Are they even entertaining the idea???

Anyone with an eye for football already knew Rooster is the most talented back on the team. I hope Chaney gets well soon but even when he has been well, he hasn’t shown much for all the hype. Rooster carried the load at like 180 soaking wet over half of last year. Him Parrish and Thad should be more than fine and hopefully get Gattis out of his comfort zone of running heavy. I’m very skeptical of what he is willing and capable of running offensively and he has a big talent at QB.
Why do you believe Gattis comfort zone is run heavy? When he first got to MI he was running what he ran at Bama as Co-OC but it didn't work because the QB was trash and the WR was questionable. He adopted to his personnel and that was the offense you seen last year with the wolverines

Marcus Clarke, Chris Graves, Malik Curtis played offense in HS. Maybe give one of them a look at RB.
Chris Graves too small, plus he played wr In HS, Marcus Clarke transferred, Malik Curtis too small as well….brashad smith has the build to play rb

I said yesterday 6-8 weeks is the ball park as of now. MTSU at the earliest.

But can the lunatics here please be directed to this post?? Can we put it in bold? Pin it? Make it a pop-up when you login?

HE IS NOT OUT FOR THE SEASON
HE DIDNT TEAR HIS ACL
HE DIDNT RETIRE
HE DIDNT DIE
HIS CAREER ISNT OVER

For ***** sake, can anyone here read or interpret things? He’s got a few week injury. He should be back easily for ACC play. We’ll miss him for A&M, but he should be able to contribute at 100% for the bulk of the season. This isn’t Citizen. Relax.
