Chaney hurt again

4-6 weeks puts him right at the start of the ACC schedule.

Without knowing what injury is - my first thought is when you rush back from injury, a lot of times your body overcompensates and you injure something else.

Given Chaney's injury history - I would expect a very cautious approach to easing him back in.
Lol.. They basically rushed him back now, I mentioned it before but was told times changed.. Did same with King, these guys overcompensate. King was diving head first for first downs he already had.. injured again..

Guy coming off major injury, I dont care if he is fully cleared, did you hear anything about days off or any type of pitch count? nope, so this is result

Sorry for being that guy asking but had a busy week and didn’t see anything. Did they ever officially say what the injury is for Citizen? We can assume he’s out for the year?

All jokes aside it would be foolish to not use him in wildcat action / zone read stuff in short yardage / red zone. Then steal some big plays when defenses sell out expecting the same play. I’d find a few looks a game for him.
Yup.

When teams sellout it can be like when King did his Fake Dives and passed down the field to absolutely wide open TEs and RBs.

Gattis did it with JJ mcCarthy last year in Mich. He played and contributed in all their big games but he was a superstar 5 star talent and 2nd string behind limited QB so politics is a little different. But Jacurri definitely presents an element and could have a package that gives DC headaches and something prepare for or might even catch off guard in a game early season like 8&4

Anyone think the practices have maybe become too physical?
Last year we lost two backs during the season, not before the season like now.

On the other hand, maybe the rewards of physicality exceed the risks of injury.

Running backs are the most vulnerable position…

I feel as though I’m the only person on the site excited about Thad Franklin. I think he gets carries & doesn’t look back. 4* player, First team all-dade, ran for over 2200 yards, & broke a 24 year old state championship record with 328 yards in state final & just thrown to the wolves.

Did your S&C program focus on the demands of the game, or on bodybuilding, 1RM #'s, and old school conditioning?
What's your camp load? Too much too soon vs. easing in and acclimating?

Sounds like guys like Frost and Sark are doing some dumb *** chit in camp. Hope "Coach Mario" isn't doing the same
