Championship Ring NFTs

I bought copies of all 5 NC rings a few years back for like 39 bucks….not sure what they will charge but if it more than 10-15 bucks it’s a rip off
 
if NFTs stick and are not a fad they are an interesting concept, as a whole. The concept of digital art and certification is too raw IMO. I dont think we are ready for that yet. Once it does catch, if ever, it will be great for whomever pays up; but there is risk associated with the purchase. On the side of UM I think that its ultimately a great move out of the athletic dept to find different sources for their funding
 
I know what it is, but I just don’t get the intrinsic value. You’re basically buying a digital image. I just don’t see the attraction. Maybe somebody can explain it to me.

Yes, and I understand that for example diamonds, trade in a “manufactured market”. But at least with a diamond, it’s a thing of physical and tangible beauty, that you can hold in your hand. It’s tangible, it’s even fungible to an extent. You can place one in a beautiful setting, give it to a girl, and you’ll get extra ***. What do you do with a digital image?

Depends on who the image is of and how big a booty or how big her **** are….😜

Not my thing personally, but still pretty cool. Theres a market for literally everything. Good on Miami for continuing to expand and potentially set another trend within the parameters of the market they're in.
 
I don’t get the whole NFT thing, but I like that Miami is the leader in all this stuff. Transfer portal, NIL, now this… forward thinking.
