I'm watching this kids video tape with his hands in the ground rushing the passer. I think we should kick the old tires and see if these kids interested again. I know he wants to be a tight end. But this kid is 6-5 220

How do we Allow this kid to Choose whether he wants to play TE or DE in college? I don't understand your question. Metayer imo is more talented and projects better at DE than TE. However, the choice is his, and DE happens to be our deepest position on the team and deepest and most talented position locally for the next two recruiting classes. Basically it's his choice and his loss!
