I now fully expect him to be hired as the OC.

Jim Caldwell was who Flores allegedly really wanted. He managed to get him to be the AHC and QB coach, but he had to step away. Caldwell apparently is ready to return to the fold, and the QB coach they have now is seen as more valuable than O'Shea.

O'shea would be a competent OC, and would probably be what Manny envisioned with Enos. He's an elite WR coach and works well with scraps, but I don't see him recruiting well or lighting up the scoreboard. He'd put up a Top 50 offense. Nothing spectacular, but nothing game breaking either. 30 ppg type of guy.

He did a great job with the hand he was given, but at the same time, I'm not mad he's gone. He's that kind of coordinator. He can be replaced.
 
I don't like. I'd rather have someone from the current college football world who's been running an effective offense, has a good sense of playcalling and knows how to relate to college players and motivate them. Anyone used to an NFL player attitude might end up in therapy after a few weeks with our O guys.
