Bama over Kentucky

Bama has two losses: at home vs UGA and at Tennessee

Bama has two quality wins: at Kentucky and at MSST with Taylor at QB.

Kentucky plays TENN this weekend. This game will matter a lot for position between UK and Bama.

For people who have nuanced thought these rankings are terrible for Miami.

The committee ranks ND 11 with a nail biter loss on the road in controversial fashion to the number 9 team while ranking Bama 5 with 2 losses including getting blown out by Tenn.

Now should Miami lose a road game in November to the #4 ranked team in the AP poll the committee will dump Miami to the fringe of the 12 team field because Miami has not beaten anyone- see what they are doing to UCLA. Sure we know WF is a really solid team but the committee screwed them with a #16 ranking knowing they have nothing on their schedule that will allow for them to be elevated.

Now fast forward to conference championship weekend. Miami plays a ridiculously undervalued WF team in Charlotte. We all know about the ACC and the Tobacco Road schools. What if there is snow or a hurricane and the we get a get a game like the Bucs game last week? Anything can happen then.

If we have no conference title we are not getting in. The main purpose of this reality tv show rankings is to pump up and excuse the SEC. The path has clearly been set to eliminate 2 of the following 3- a 2 loss Notre Dame, a 2 loss wake, and a 2 loss Miami.

Yup this was my exact thought, its funny seeing ND fans melt down over the #11 ranking but if the committee had them at 5 or so and we lost, we prob drop to that 5 range, still pretty safe, however we lost to #11, in their house? They will drop us to around 8 or so. And like you said they **** on WF who has a dog **** sched the rest of the way so for Wake its win ACC or bust or you need people in front of you to lose.

For us, like you said win out, or win ACC we are in but with 2 losses we are out unless people in front of us also lose.
