CFP Ranking on now

Slap in the face to Clemson. Imagine if Miami was really good and undefeated and not in the top four. The committee really blew this one. All these coaches talk about how hard it is to win every week. Clemson keeps winning defending champs and they put them fifth. I think Clemson would beat Penn st, Florida, Georgia easily.

Because OSU looks good again they are over ranking the Big 10. I still don't believe any of those teams are head and shoulders above any other conference lineup.

Clemson would destroy OSU and Penn State
Not sure about destroying OSU.....but they would whip Penn State by 3 scores. This is why they should let Vegas to the rankings. Outside of Penn no one would put even money on PSU to beat Clemson. If you can't put your $ behind the rankings then why rank them ahead?

Way too early to care, but I will say -- if Bama loses to LSU this weekend, and Penn St's only loss this season is against Ohio State (and loses competitively), and Bama STILL gets in -- shut down CFB.

but Alabama is better than penn st. and would kill them

Going to end up -

1. Ohio State
2. SEC Champion (LSU or Bama)
3. Clemson
4. This is where it gets tricky....
  • Bama or LSUs only loss is to each other
  • Penn State has 1 loss to Ohio State
  • Oregon 1 Loss to Auburn or Utah 1 Loss to USC
  • Oklahoma has 1 loss to K-State
In this scenario I bet Bama or LSU get in. So root for LSU to beat Bama and Auburn to beat Bama

IMO they should expand to a 8 team playoff and start a week earlier

1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. Clemson
4. Bama
5. Penn State
6. Oregon
7. Oklahoma
8. Memphis

by the third quarter it’s mostly second and third string players most games

That’’s definitely not accurate. I’ve watched every single one of their games that wasn’t at the same time as ours, as my wife is a Tigger$ fan. Even when they do start substituting, dude is still going deep trying to get as many players a TD as he can. Look man, it’s not Dabo’s job to keep the score down, but to say they are ever taking their foot off the gas isn’t true.

You know it will happen.

Bama already has its ticket punched. It's just a matter of the details playing out, as usual.

What's Saban's current position on being for or against teams that don't win their conference making the CFB? Flip-flop.

The ACC needs to be represented in the playoffs every year. Clemson is the only option to represent the ACC this year. Despite my disdain for Clemson, we need them in the playoffs for the betterment of the ACC.

I dont give a rip about the ACC, they dont give a rip about us and ***** us every chance they get.
