You guys do realize these aren't the final rankings right?
LSU & Bama will play each other this weekend & Oh St will play Penn St in 2 weeks.
The final four will be
1. B1G winner (Oh St)
2. SEC winner (LSU/Bama)
3. ACC winner (Clemson)
4. Pac-12 winner (Oregon/Utah)
The only way there will be 2 teams from the SEC in the playoffs is if Bama loses to LSU, if Bama beats LSU there will only be one team from the SEC that makes it.
The committee will always make sure that Bama has a clear path to the playoffs, but no other school will get that benefit of the doubt.
Clemson not being in the top 4 now means nothing because they're going to finish undefeated & win the ACC, so they'll be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
The final spot will be a battle between whoever wins the Pac-12 & Oklahoma once they win the Big XII. All those other schools bunched up around there will drop as they lose more games to finish out the season, like UGA, UF etc.
